Its gonna be one big game.

I gurantee someone's gonna be on this forum either 'the day of' or 'the day after' release making some sort of complaint about the length of the game.

Not me, if I decide to get the game, I'm gonna take my time and try to enjoy it like I've either done or I am doing with all the seven games I have for my PS3 at the moment.

well i saw on wikipedia that hitachi already made a four 25gb layer blu-ray disk that can be played by the original players (ps3)by installing a firmware and that they're developing an eight layer disk but they're still working on it...panasonic also tried to do he four layer disk but with no succes... and the xbox 360 dudes are doing magic so they launch a 51gb hd dvd that might not even work on the x360...

i wonder how many gigs gta took up but either way i hope it takes a while to complete

Im getting my Ps3 next week and Im probly getting the 40gb so how does that work with a 50gb game does it cause any problems.

Kojima says the quality could be better if he had more room and had to compress some stuff...

Sure the game is huge already, but being as important as MGS4 is for the PS3 you would think maximum quality would be near the top of the list of things to ensure. (not that I think its going to look bad at all)

Use another disc or somthing, instead of compressing files.

MGS 1 was a 2 CD game and it was great.

lol. Don't worry. Kojima's talking about space on the Blu-ray, not the install size of the game. If that were the case, people would be extremely pissed off, especially the 20/40 GB'ers and most of the 60/80 GB'ers.
