Metal Gear Solid 4 North American BOXART revealed!

According to metalgearsolid4.net the US boxart has been revealed.

It doesn't look that great IMO, and sort of fake, but MetalGearSolid4.net seems pretty confident.

the MGS box arts don't use CG graphics.

lol its obviously fake guys. The closes thing to what we have is that one pic of the game they released when they said it was going to come out june 12th. That was the japenese box art but wasnt official. Wait till konami or Kojima productions release the box art. And dont trust amazon lol.

theres nothing wrong with solid snake's eye :roll:, that eye patch of his is a device that can do things like zoom, nightvision, and thermal..... the only reason its in the form of an eye patch is so solid snake metaphorically "looks" like big boss 8)

There is nothing wrong with Solid Snakes eye, the patch he is wearing is a device called the Solid Eye it works as a night vision and thermal goggles.

if you follow the game and the trailers they showed you would have known that, Otacon gave it to him.

lol, it's easy to see that it's fake.
Anyone with good eyes try looking ath the text. It's easy to see that the text looks blurry compared to the rest of the box are. Wich basically means, that the resolution are different, and that it's just a cheap photoshop trick.

I think the box art is real cause look at the bundle i found on amazon..

The boxart might be fake, but hell the GRAPHICS and THE DAMN DETAILS on SNAKE's face are freakin' UNBELIEVABLE! That picture is NEW!!!! Now where did that faker brought that new picture?? who knows. DAMN it the graphics....!!!!!!!

That doesn't really mean anything. MGS3: Subsistence (original US cover, not Essential's boxart), for example, didn't have the Kojima logo or say anything about Kojima on the front. The original MGS box art in the US didn't even have a picture on it, just the MGS logo, "Tactical Espionage Action" and the Konami logo.

Really, the only things guaranteed to be on the cover are "Playstation 3" on the side, the Blu-Ray symbol at the top, the playstation logo and whatever version it is (ie., NTSC), ESRB rating, "Konami," "Tactical Espionage Action" somewhere around the title, and the title of the game.

Man, I dont know, that looks very japanese, Usually US boxart does not look like that, it usually does not take up all the cover with objects and characters like that, japanese games on the other hand usually do, just go and look at some and you will know what I mean, like fantasy games will have the whole cover filled up with charcters and creatures from the game covering up the whole cover all the way to the edge of the box just as an example.

The japanese boxart alongside the european version are Shinkawa's works with the brush! The US version might be different.

I trusted MetalGearSolid4.net! But they give me the fake boxart and call it the real thing?!

Yeah, I've never seen the picture, so I started believing it. I agree! The details are FREAKING DETAILED! Not to mention that it's probably not even CGI!

It says HERE that Snake's mustache by itself has the same amount of polygons as an enemy soldier in MGS3!

I like the MGS2 cover the best, best of all I still own it! :D

Looks fake to me, MGS artwork is always handdrawn, as somebody previously stated, the EU ones anyway.
