I feel like I totally missed something obvious but can somebody explain to me what liquid meant when he said "this is what i always hoped for" or whatever at the end? I don't understand why he bothered with all of it if his goals really were the same as snake's. Thanks
snake didnt have the same goal as liquid. liquid wanted a world without the patriots control. Solid snake really was just put in the middle of it all. thats what i think personally. he was kind of just thrown on a mission that blew way out of porportion with metal gear and liquid and all the boss's.
It's hard for me to explain, but you should definitely download and check out the MGS Data Base from the PS Store. You will learn everything in there, I spent hours reading up on the Metal Gear series.
