I am also waiting and seeing how MSG4 since this may be the last one with Solid, this one might sell better than all of its predecessors. You never know.

there have only been 2 halo games though... there are alot more MGS games, consider the old school ones, the portable titles, the ports to other systems
I don't care about Halo. I don't even want Halo and Metal Gear in the same paragraph never mind anything else. They aren't even competing, nor are they the same type of game.

yes but u also have to consider the fact that theres so much more medal gear games.....the originals....solids.....remake......MGS2+3 and substance and subsistence......and the psp games. while halo has only had4 that have released(which i know of)halo 1 twice and halo 2 twice
Define what is bigger? Bigger to those who like MSG or are Sony fanboys? Bigger to those who like Halo 3 or are Microsoft fanboys? As it stands right now, Halo will sell more. There are more 360's out there than PS3's. So it may be bigger to you. According to the almighty dollar though, Halo 3 will destroy MSG. MSG might beat out Halo 3 in campaign mode but Halo 3 will win online and replay. I still play Halo 2, I havent touched the last MSG since I beat it a week after release...
I think MGS has more history than Halo does. Halo only has existed for 6 years while MG-MGS has lasted for 20 years! Halo can quote crap like "Finish the fight", but MGS4 can say - - - - "Finish the mission!"

So? that doesn't mean that it doesn't have a larger fan base. plus pretty muc everyone in Japan hates Halo (and all FPS) so that like what, an extra billion more potential customers?
