Metal Gear Solid 5?!

Like we all didn't see this coming.... Apparently he has no choice but to make another one. I don't know about you guys but every time i hear him say I'm finished with Solid Snake or Metal Gear Solid I start to laugh inside. It's their number one money maker. Without MGS they are basically finished. Anyway I hope they go back to the begining. Remake the old MSX versions or go way back even before that when he is first cloned. If not that atleast make it about the actual Patriot/Hero The Boss during WWII or when she was green and first started out. I don't know and I don't care as long as they just don't make the game crappy. But it would be smart for them to go Prequel instead of sequel.

I know a lot of people disagree and want MGS to end but it hasn't really given me a reason to want it to end. All the games are great aside from Portable Ops (The story was decent but the gameplay was dull so I just couldn't get into it). Peace Walker does what MGSPO should have done. I just wish they would stop putting all of Big Boss's story all on the PSP. It's rediculous and Big Boss's story is meant for the PS3 in my opinion. I have no idea why Kojima did this but he should have atleast made them for both systems PSP and PS3. Whatever just don't flush the series down the toliet just so Konami can make a quick buck.

Well MGS Rising is roughly the time from number 2 right up to the end of number 4...it is Raiden's story. The parts that you didn't see so I suppose that is a good idea. Giving fans things they didn't know before instead of going too far back and just putting gameplay to a story that we all know already..

^ Al good things should come to a end though. The MGS universe could end up turning into the likes of the Star Wars universe.

Dude...you better put your flameshield on!!! lol...Anyway, I like the series but I'm not a "BIG" fan as most are....MG has been a hit or miss for me personally.

Release all: New mgs! new Z.O.E. and the original title!

They'll be more MGS games, I just don't think they'll revolve around Snake anymore.

I hope they continue on with the MGS franchise, it doesn't necessarily have to have Snake. And I hope it doesn't, because I felt MGS4 was Snake's last hurrah. My favorite game franchise for sure.

You know it could be interesting if they made a character cloned from The Boss or one from Solid Snake, one that is genaticaly improved and the setting could be in a post apocalyptic environement with a groupe or cyborg vilans running the show.

Would be interesting if they made a game of either Liquid or Solidus.

^ what he said, i want to play more MGS games, but not a new story of MGS, they should make a MGS game where you play each character's story, how they become this and that... etc... like MGS: Rise of Liquid Snake, MGS: The Big Boss, MGS: Solidus Snake and so on so forth :)emoticedmar

Are we still talking about MGS or have we moved on to the X-Men movies :roll: Something like that might work for a different franchise, but I really don't think that would be a good idea for MGS. I'm still not sure if I want a 5th game (not that it's my choice). The story ended perfectly with 4, and Rising is going to tie up any loose ends between 2 and 4, so what's left? If they wanted, they could go back into the past, but I don't really want that. I don't know, I trust Kojima :(
