Ive, benn wanting to play metal gear solid the first one, and i hear that its available in the mgs collection for the ps2, and i only have the 40gig ps3 which means i'll be only able to play the first one, do guys think i should buy it for 30 bucks? well thanks for ur time gamers peace! god bless keep gaming
MGS4 will have flashbacks available when something from an older game is brought up, atleast thats what Payten said in an interview.
Buy a PS2 and then get the collection.

well i had a ps2 until my brother sold it, haha but ill see, its cause i just want to stick to the next-gen consoles and i just wanna know the story of the original mgs to get familiar with some of the characters in the game im a new comer to the series thats why and the main attraction for me was the gameplay and the multiplayer, but ive always waned to know about the story too

The Patriots are mentioned in MGS2, but I was playing it last night and it was under a different name that I didnt know what it meant so I looked it up and found that it just was another name for the Patriots.

Heh it has been rumored a few times already. If sony really decides to do it a great deal of people would prolly just buy the 40 gigs. But then again if the rumor is true it's not happening till oct when mgs4 is already out.
