I have played the original MGS on my PC and I loved it. I wanted to play MGS2 on PC too but it didnt support my Video Card so I didnt play it. Now I got a PS3 and I dont know if I should play MGS4 or not. Should I just play it, check the stories of other games on internet? Should I get a PS2 just to play MGS2 and MGS3 (other PS2 games dont interest me)? Should I wait for 3DS (it gets a MGS3 remake) and get a new Video Card to play MGS2 on my PC?

Thanks for the help :)

Yeah duder if you can find a PS2 thats cheap go for it. The MGS series is stunning. I litterly just broke out my MS2 Substance and went for a timed run through. So much fun.

idk what kinda video card you have but chances are a new wont play MGS2 too, or may its not even the card it can be windows (i'm guessing you have vista or 7) i would try patches and compatible mode (every available 95, 98 etc etc etc) before anything. and you shouldnt read the story from the internet you'll be missing sooooooo much i cant even begin to tell, you are spouse to play MGS not watch it, i wont even fill you in so i wont spoil anything, but remember when you got the cardboard box for the 1st time you hide in it and you see soldiers just passing by? stuff like that, so little individually but when you put all together its just amazing.

I have GeForce 9500 GT and Windows XP. I can start the game and hear everything but I cant see any objects or characters.

Damn, that must suck. See if you can find a fix online ( I THINK there's some patch for newer GPUs). Oh, and if you can, buy a PS2. Also, there's the MGS Essential Collection, which has MGS 1, MGS 2 Subsistence and MGS 3 with the MUCH better camera. Though, I'm assuming you're from the US and that collection was only available there.

Do you think it is worth spending 150$ for those games with PS2? I am not from USA but I might order Collection on the internet.
