Plus is all about online play. It doesnt follow the story. Plus has extended online play with more features and added boss battle mode ( i think? didnt unlock it ...yet ) It also has new players that you can play as like Old snake and Raiden. If you are interested in following the sotry line, don't get this game, get Portable Ops. but if you play online a lot then by all means, get this game, it kicks butt! :)
While it is a stand alone title, Plus is actually an expansion pack that helps to prolong the online portion of the original Portable Ops. I would only recommend it for anyone who enjoyed the online portion of that game. Read the reviews of the game here on gamespot they really tell you the games pitfalls.
I beat 2 other metal gear solids and liked them alot and I think this is just as fun and I love the online gameplay but I dont have that much good people I just got to extreme mode I got it not htat long ago
