Metal Gear Solid: Rising- Raiden aint that Bad !!!!!!!

ok I no Raiden aint as badass as Snake or the Big Boss but he aint that sorry as character, What ppl need to know is that he was a ROOKIE in MGS 2. I mean did u seen how bad ass he was MGS 4, Now I want MGS rising to still be like MGS 4 just u play as raiden in that suit he is in.

yeah i hear you we're pretty much on the same page....i mean i liked MGS2, i dont know why everyone hates on Raiden....

aspects of his appearance not withstanding, i have always liked raiden, i don't buy that he survived 4, as if he wouldn't be crushed by that boat!. but but otherwise i have always had a soft spot for him. But yeah, no problems playing as him again in Rising, always wanted to play as the ninja, perhaps he fought vamp between 2 and 4 as Vamp didn't seem to surprised by his appearance. that be cool if you could actiually control one of their fights.

Yeah, I liked Raiden, even in MGS2. I would assume that most peoples' instant hatred for him belonged to the fact that MGS2 substituted him for playing as Snake, which really caught people off guard.

Rising has a lot of potential for a game not directed by Kojima - granted they follow the same formula that Kojima would follow.

Is this an issue? I think anyone who played 4 is fully onboard with Raiden regardless of how you felt about 2.

whats with people and bad asses why do games all ways have to have badass characters, i mean mario isn't badass, ameratsu isn't badass, even link isn't badass. Why do gamers always hate the characters that i always think are the most human? like leo in zone of the enders and raiden.

I never jumped on the Raiden-hating bandwagon either; sure I was disappointed not to be able to play as Snake but I kind of like his character. MGS4 made me like him even more.

I agree with all who says Raiden is NOT a bad character. Sheesh, I get quite pissed that people hated MGS 2 only because you had to play as Raiden. Get real...

I disliked the little fairy in MGS2 but by god, he did kick ass in MGS4. I'm definitely hyped for Rising.Floppy_Jim

Regardless of what he becomes, Raiden was (from MGS2) and still is pathetic scum and now he's just scum in a ninja suit. If anyone's badass its the Ninja Suit.

But playing the Ninja Suit should be fun.

raiden killed mgs2. he was a girl then and hes a girl now....hes such a emo now too. always complainin and what not. i want rising to fail, just to show kojima never again put a mgs game onto the 360......i dont want to play as big boss on psp...i want to play as him on my god damn ps3......i really thought MGS5 was going to be announced...

Whenever they talked to each other the game went to crap.

I wanna know the Story, and see gameplay footage before I judge. I personally like the NEW cyborg raiden as oppose to the old lame one, but I'd still wanna see the game before getting excited about it.
