Metal Gear Solid story review?

Does anyone have a video, or written article explaining the MGS story and where the phantom pain is going to fit in? Its for a friend, I just don't know how to explain it! And no he's not going to go buy all the games and play them and find out for himself, thanks lol :)

Enjoy the read, it's actually quite interesting, not sure how correct it is, but it gives you the general idea.

I only say this because they put that we go up against big boss in metal gear solid but we don't we go up against him we fight liquid. but it's a very interesting read
