Metal Gear Solid and Grand Theft Auto are two completely different games. If you had the choice of getting the games for free, which one would you pick? The MGS series or the GTA series? I'm just asking this because to me, both of them are totally amazing games. Which one according to you is better?
easily metal gear solid...i can go back to those games and play them to death over and over again. i don't find myself doing that very often with grand theft auto, at most it's only two or three playthroughs and that's it.
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater was my favourite game last gen so MGS4 is by far the game I'm most looking foward to. I usually only play GTA games as a distraction before I play my next epic single-player game, I play them for a few hours, get bored and don't touch them again for months.
I'm, frankly, surprised at the outcome so far (MGS winning by a significant margin). Nonetheless, both are phenomenal series, and better for folks to think that MGS is better than a lesser series.
Not sure yet. GTA is good. But I still question was it really better than SA??? Time will tell on that one. Kinda like when FF12 came out. Everyone said it was the best one. because it did some new stuff. But now???
From what I see of MGS. It may be the funner game. In completely different ways thow. But who knows. Still have a few weeks till we know for sure.
mgs no question... GTA is fun and all for the first 4 or 5 hours, then its the same thing over and over, so you only end up playing an hour or so every few days... just my opinion
Are kidding me? MGS wins indefinitely there's no competition what so ever. Sure GTA is funnier and allows you to have more choices but the depth and complexity of MGS absolutely blows GTA right out of the water.
I own every MGS, even Substance and Subsistence. I love them all and I will buy every new one that Hideo Kojima makes. But your question, which one would you rather get for free, I only own one GTA so GTA.
metal gear solid 4 is the best game of this generation so far, and the best game bin the world so far. GTA IV was fun and all but i got sick of t so fast. yeah blowing up stuff.... it gets old. but metal gear solid 4 has the greatest single player in gaming history, and also has an excellent online.
MGS, no question about it. I couldn't even force myself to finish the GTA: San Andreas or GTA4, whereas I've played through each MGS game many, many times.
Metal Gear Solid is way better than GTAIV. There not even in the same league. GTAIV was a major dissapointment. San Andreas was a lot more fun with a lot more to do. The only MGS I ever played was MGS4 and although I didn't understand the storyline 100% I can say it is a lot better than GTAIV.
MGS4 Considering that I bought the PS3 early ready for it I had pre-ordered it 1 year in advance GTA i picked up on the day i never really liked them as a kid I got it as my freinds at college were all getting it I playede it for 3 hours sold it to my freind shos copy had ran out of stock after 3 hours of play as it was BORING
