Metallic Blue Madden PSP or Deep Red GOW Bundle, Which One Should I Get?

Hey everyone! I was all stoked & waiting for the God of War deep red PSP bundle to come out so I could get one (the colour is NICE!), but then Sony announces the Metallic Blue Madden bundle and now am kind of torn between the two (the silver bundle is kind of attractive too, although silver is kind of common though...)

The thing is that I'm not into football games so getting Madden and that football UMD would be useless to me (would sell them if I buy the blue bundle). Also, I have a 4GB sandisk MS so I don't need the 1GB MS from this bundle, but on the other hand blue is my favourite colour (I wanted to buy an import metallic blue of the original PSP in late 2006, but was a little deterred by the price...)

So, the blue is a beautiful colour, which I will definitely enjoy, but all of the other stuff (with the possible exception of Beats is useless for me)

The red GOW bundle has a very nice deep red colour that is definitely growing on me alot, plus I hear GOW is a top-notch game on the PSP (I haven't played it yet) so I'm interested in playing it so I'm keeping the game should I get it. Also, Superbad & Syphon Filter looks good too so I'll give the game a try and I hear Superbad is a decent comedy so worth a shot too.

I also think the improvements on the slim are nice and would like to upgrade to it since I do have plans to hook it up to a TV.

So I'm very torn between my favourite colour (blue for pretty much anything) or the better value, more suitable bundle for my gaming needs. I'm looking for some comments, opinions, suggestions etc. on which PSP bundle you guys/gals think I should get or should I just not buy any? I would prefer to get one since I want to upgrade to the slim though...

If your definitely going to use the additional features on the PSP 2000 = God Of War bundle :)

If not - Keep you PSP 1000 & spend the money saved on UMD's :D

get a nintendo DS is far better... unless you only wanna play a few great titles

Are you still stuck in 2006 when that was the case?

There is a ton of great titles, i got 50 games & there still more games i crave to get on the PSP

remember there is over 350+ PSP games out & if you got atleast 350 games for the PSP & your saying "there is only a few great titles for the PSP" then you can say that but i doubt you even have 100 games let alone that many

For me I'd get the God of War bundle

Stay with your old psp, thats what i have from launch and it still works great. ive heard quite a few problems with the slims breaking and stuff. idk your choice, you could use that money for 3 or 4 new games, or a new face plate.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Oh I do have a question, is it true that the PSP slim has an improved d-pad? I heard that it's much better than the one on the original and would like some opinions on some users regarding this.

I'm kind of on the same boat here haha, I have my phat black psp since 2006 too, I got my money saved for a GOW bundle and then I saw the blue madden psp that looks great. I'm getting the GOW bundle since I'm tired of waiting and red just looks sick, plus it has Kratos's face on the back LOL

And yes, the D-pad has been improved it sticks out a bit more so now you can actually press corners (I.E. down+foward, you can play tekken better), I know cause a friend of mine has a piano black slim psp, I think that the extra ram helps a bit with the web browser.

Just got a new HDTV so now I can use the TV out feature.

So yeah get the slim, the color you like the most you can buy the other stuff later if you want

I really appreciate all of the comments, suggestions etc. I've decided to go for the GOW bundle, which actually makes the most sense from a "logical" standpoint, your opinions just helped strengthen that.
