Is MGO included with MGS4 Guns of the Patriots? Is it only a starter or a FULL ONLINE game? Ill keep googling as I wait for some answers. And are there a lot of people who play online? Is it fun?

Im planning on returning a used Street Fighter 4 for a used game.

It's included and it's only a starter yes. It's so horribly managed and you pay $15 for skins and soundbytes. Not cool...

...from a Metal Gear fan by the way...

Yeah it's included. Just the starter pack though. It's pretty decent for playing, not as fast paced and fun as I dunno....say Modern Warfare but it's still decent.

MGS4 is an awesome game/experience. MGO... is ****. MG isn't really ment to be a multiplayer game. (well its not well conceived) The series doesn't really compare to other online games, to be honest its garbage when compared to other online games... Sorry.

What you think they'd charge the full game price for that crap?? :P Na, its okay., but it does cost like $14 more for your Konami account and then another few bucks per each expansion. SO,. basically, you won't have to buy a disc, but you'll still be paying extra to play it.

A Konami account to play online? I love how no one mentioned that.

There is a massive 2GB update , which are the new maps, but you have to unlock them by buying from the MGO Store. In my opinion it's not worth the play.

Yeah, people seem to forget the important details. Its not free by any means. I really think its a waste of time and effort. Sure it was fun for a while, but there's so many better online multiplayers that are completely free.

Metal Gear Online is the worst online game this generation;

  • $10 - 20 skins, sounds and costume
  • Hit-Box detection is way off
  • Lag Switchers are everywhere
  • No teamwork from ANYONE
  • Because they do not use the PSN you have to download updates from their website; slow, very, very slow
  • *facepalm*

Yes MGO is included in MGS4, overall it's a great multiplayer game, possibly the most underrated multiplayer game on the PS3. Remember, Unless you become real good in game, you will have fun playing, so start training!

+ parts

- not your regular FPS

- you get to cqc people

- solid gameplay

- online is great with a good connection

- tactical, no run and gun

- you can buy DLC from PSN if you don't want to buy from their website

- buy extra clothing with reward points, no money at all

- parts

- creatng 2 accounts (one for the game and one for the shop

- extra character slots costs too much ($6)

- people with bad connections lag (of course thats in many games)

Rating: 9/10

It is included, but you have to pay extra money to make it worthwhile.
