I'm going to be disappointed if MGO is anything like MGS3 online. It was pretty much whoever could pull their sights up fastest. The reticle was always the height of the other person's head.Dylanson

There was no reticle in MGO1, but if you mean the iron sites then no. On level ground it would default at the persons chest. Headshots took skill. Some could adapt, others couldnt. Its just a matter of practice.

Most of the vets like the new MGO, but consider the first one to be the best by far. I couldnt disagree more. The first MGO was my favorite online game ever, but judging from the beta the new one will easily replace it for me. All the old glitches are gone and any new ones that come along will be easily patched. Then you have so many weapons, mods, skill customization and character customization. The new sneaking mission is bad ass as well. Instead of having an overpowered Snake, you have to rely on stealth skills this time around. The gameplay mechanics also suit online gaming much better than the old MGO and the SOP system can lead a team to victory when used correctly. The game just has an overall more tactical feel to it than MGO1.

LOL I forgot to mention the fact that there will tons of playable characters from the MGS universe. I here in the MGO section of the instruction manual there are silhouettes of Raiden, Meryl, Ocelot etc...Ryan Payton also said they will constantly be working on new variants similar to the MGS experience and also keep adding new maps, weapons and characters all the time. The game is so sick! Nothing more fun than placing an SOP destabilizer in an enemy base and watching the other team drop their weapons and start beating their heads into the Ground XD
