Try GameFAQs. They have save files for most games, although I don't know if they have that particular file.

Are MGS4 save files copiable? I know a lot of games won't let you copy other peoples saves. I'd say a better answer to your problem with rapid-button-mashing is to get an aftermarket controller with a rapid-fire feature, allowing you to just hold the button down.

I only live with my mum and she can't press it fast enough. I tried asking around if there was a turbo fire pad for the ps3 and the stores said there wasn't. I can't buy accessories offline either because I don't have a card. The only way i'll be able to do it is with a save file

You're in luck. There is no need for yoy to actually tap trianlge. After the story scenes play out, the game continues without Snake dying.

awww man I feel like an idiot now. When that part of the game came up I was mashing the buttons like mad lol. It's nice to hear that the TC will be able to continue this great game without having to search around for a save file

I'm sorry to hear of your condition but i must say that the microwave hallway is one of the bestsequences ive experienced in a game (not rubbing it in, its the truth).

If you just have your mom around maybe she can try a different method. When i was young and played Track and Field fot the NES i used a lighter or a battery to glide across the A and B button to get faster times. This just might work with the triangle button, but this may also scratch up your controller.

I had that Track and Field game I think....was the last even a marathon? lol

Anyways, I know one guy already said you don't actually have to keep merking the triangle button. However, if you DO have to do it to pass that part of the game do what this gentleman suggests. Instead of a lighter though just take a spoon and turn it upside down and rub it across the triangle and circle button. The under side of a spoon shouldn't scratch anything.

In the future, you can try asking one of your friends to do it for you
but I must say

The Microwave tunnel part is completed automatically even if you dont tap

and even if you are the chuck norris of tapping and button smashing, you cant reach the end "alive"

the scene always finishes before, even if you get all your HP and pshyhe down, the guy still advances, until the scene finishes

I wont work like that for me, when my psyche and health are depleted, Snake dies.

Oh, the memories LOL.

TC I found this I have no idea about quality though as I've never used it but for $25 it may be worth a try as it may be useful for other games in the future.

I also found this, probibly a better quality and has a turbo speed adjuster but the thumb sticks seem a little close together.

i dont have a game save for you but i have a sugestion for buttom mashing, i do this sometimes. take an object like a pen or pencil or somethin smaller you can hold in your hands, wrap the tip in a sheet or something soft and smooth, and scratch it back and forth across the x button, it will be just like you were pushing it really fast.. when i do this in game i just cup my hand like i would be blowing on my fingernails and scratch the top of my fingernails where its smooth across the face of all the buttons and it runs smoothly over all of them very quickly. just saying if you cant go up and down very fast, go side to side

One might say that a person replying in the way you did might be in need of friends.

Well how big a jerk do you have to be to tell someone with cerebal palsey to get a freind? Seriously, that's just beyond messed up. I've seen alot on these forums but that's just beyond words.

Man, I hope what that other guy said was true... about TC not needing to mash on triangle. I never actually thought there were disabilities that keep people from fully enjoying a video game... we take a lot of things for granted... nonetheless, I wish you the best of luck with your problem, TC, as that is all I can do.

I second that and just wanted to say that it's awesome that you (AikiSpirit) can excel at MGS4 despite your CP.

Also, Scianix-Black don't forget about those who have epileptic seizures, they are severely limited in what games they can play.

I personally didn't know that you could complete that section without pressing anything. But I think that AikiSpirits comments dispel that idea. He needs to get through it some way. If I still had a copy of the game I could easy create a save so that he could enjoy the rest. I would recommend that you attempt to take the button pressing very lightly at the beginning of the sequence. See if you can get far enough where you don't have to do the intense part to complete it. Also, after that sequence there is some additional intensive button pressing. I don't want to spoil anything but read the following if you want to know what I'm talking about.
You'll need to mash buttons for attacks in the final fight between Snake and Liquid.
Goodluck man. You'll really feel a sense of accomplishment once you finally finish Kojima's masterpiece.

Thank you all for posting with help! Usually I play pretty well at games, im top rank at cod 4 and rainbow six, it doesnt stop me actually gaming. The ONLY time it does is with button basing events, like MGS4 and Prince of Persia. But thank you all for your thoughtfulness and sincerity.

Oh well i'll just have to pack up MGS and go back to R6 Vegas

I wouldnt trust an uploaded save file.

Either get a friend or, heck, even a parent to press the button fast enough, or get a turbo controller.

In real life Snake would die in a matter of seconds due to his brain being cooked into the consistency of Jello. Microwaves penetrate right through clothes and flesh and agitate water.

Anyways, its more for drama and not a test of how fast you press it. Just press it as fast as you can go and he will live. In fact if I remember right he won't even crawl as fast as you can press it.

Sorry to hear about your problem :(, if any of your close mates pop round, ask them to do it for you, im sure they be kind enough =]. I never reach the end of the hall way, and im def sure you survive even if you dont make it past the first of the three hall ways. anyway, i hope you reach and enjoy the ending =]. It can be a pain when some games make you have to press the button too fast, i kinda hate it half the time :(. Goodluck Snake =D

I wouldnt trust an uploaded save file.

Either get a friend or, heck, even a parent to press the button fast enough, or get a turbo controller.

This is what I meant. Or are you all going to say he's rude too?

Atleast he had a little more to say than what you posted. What you posted is nothing short of rude, next time type what you mean then.

i've been gaming for most of my life and theres only one thing that stops me. I have cerebal palsey so anytime there is a button bashing even, I can't press the button fast enough. Now, you can imagine that it's 100 % impossible for me to do the microwave tunnel in MGS 4, so I was wondering if someone could upload a save file for me to download that allows me to carry on playing JUST after that sequence. I would be so grateful, thank you for reading.
