I say that MGA2 is in the top 3 games of the PSP
mrking
Agreed. I never played 1 but 2 is a great game with a lot of replayability.
Metal Gear Ac!d is great. I have both of em, I'm just waiting to complete the first one. Time flies when you're playing it too. The 3 Metal Gear games for the PSP are reason enough to buy the PSP. majadamus
Yes. Time flies like crazy when you're playing it. I've been playing at work (bought AC!D 2 also, been dedicating time to both AC!DS) and the gamesare just so much fun.. Usually I'll buy a game and get tired of it in a matter of hours because its more of the "been there done that" type situation.. But I've NEVER played anything like the MGS AC!D series (14 hours play time dedicated to AC!D 1 + 2, and I've only owned em for like 2 days :|)
Usually I have my routine PC gaming night about two orthree times a week butsince I got MGS AC!D I could really careless for playing PC games now..
I also love the Metal Gear Ac!d series. If you think the first one was good, wait till you play the second one. I think it's even better!Xperiment

Wow, i didn't know these games were that well liked. I agree to the fact that so many people expected too much from these games. I saw them at CC and should have picked it up. Im a huge fan of the MG franchise but the card battle thing kind of turned me away from the acids.
Thanks all, you have me convinced. Plus it's only $13 :P
I have yet to spend over $20 for a psp game, i love it!
So i was at CC today and decided to pick up acid2 for less than 10 bucks. Just one question, do i need to play the first acid to understand the story of acid2?
It's a great game. I recently picked up and started playing through the first one, and so far it's taken me twenty-one hours to get to the final end boss of the game which sadly I can't beat. But I did go out and buy the second one. I definitely like the game and think that the card-based approached is interesting. And it's actually a fitting gameplay for this type of game as well.

Wow I think I got ripped for buying a used 1 at GS. I didn't know there's a sale in CC it's not in their weekly add.4dry4n
It was in their last weeks ad. They had their "cool deals" thing goin where its 25% off selected games. It ended the 9th, so i pickedit up the last day i could. So acid ended up being less than $10.
And yea circuit city is in the states.
I'm playing 1 atm, i'm on the last but one level I think and I'm at 20 hours. I played it mor eor less straight over a weekend, but now im a bit sick of it so ive given it a rest to play through tales of eternia.death1505921
What a coincidence, I picked up MGA and Tales of Eternia for $5 after trading in 3 heinous games, and I can't decide which game to focus more on.
I actually went out and looked for Metal Gear Ac!d based on this thread, and though it took some getting used to, I'm so glad I got it.
I thought AC!D was the worst concept I had seen when I first got my PSP. I tried it out for 5 minutes and hated it. Later I found it cheap on a 'buy 2 get 1 free' sale at Gamestop or EB. I figured it was time to give it a try once again. I've put many hours into it and have the 2nd one waiting as soon as I finish the first. The only problem I have with it is that I need to be in the mood to play it. Most of the time I just want to mindlessly blow $#!t up and move on through the levels. It's not often that I want to sit and think about my next move, but when I get the urge, I can use up my battery life in one sitting.
And for those who haven't heard, Gamespot has dropped prices on MG AC!D 2 ($10?) and Infected ($15).
