MGS HD collection. anyone else slightly annoyed??

Don't take it the wrong way i'm a massive MGS fan and i've loved every one i've played,
but i'm a little dissapointed that they brought out 2 and 3 and peacewalker, seriously where is the original game which debuted on the ps1!!!!
Number 2 was rubbish compared to that game and is my least favourite as i believe it's a complete carbon copy of the first just with different characters, it even state's in the game by solidous that his relationship to raiden and this whole part was modeled on the relationship between solid and big boss.

i was wondering if anyone else was slightly dissapointed that they didn't remake the orginial for this collection as that game was the starting point to an amazing franchise, yes i know they remade it for the GAMECUBE why o why did they do that i don't know but i think they let fans down with this collection without having that, not to say i don't love the collections games in all it's hd glory but still feel slightly pee'd, i mean seriously for the new gamers who played mgs4 surely it would of made sense to put mgs in the collection so they can relate to that game.

still think a hd release would of been great for people who had played it and young people who are into the more up to date graphics,

is liquid hind the one when he's in the jet and you have to use the stinger missiles, was a hard from if i remember correctly it was a lot of running about and timing

I tried to enjoy the small bit of mgs4 i played, but couldnt because i havent played the first, 2, or 3rd. I also dont want to play an old "unrefined" if you will.

I agree, I've always wondered why the original wasn't on there. Would be cool to see that redone in HD, and updated graphics to boot seeing as how MGS 2 and 3 were on the PS2 whereas the original on PS1. But I can see how it would be more profitable to leave it out so that people can download it on the PSN. I thought the same about the Silent Hill HD collection.

just downloaded mgs1 and its a very well designed game considering its age. Gonna man through it, then play the hd collection (Peace walker after 4)
