MGS IV is not very popular

MGS IV does not seem to be very popular here, its like ranked 12, but i still love it :PTobio19

Well, people don't need to talk about the game 24/7, so people are giving it a break and waiting for the launch.

back here on earth mgs games are very popular and mgs4 is gonna be the biggest ever

If there ever was a lack of popularity for MGS, it'd be because there were too many simple minded people complaining about the complexity of the storyline, OR because for some reason they assumed it'd be like Splinter Cell, which is garbage IMO. -_-'

The only way this game isn't popular is if you only compare it with GTA, COD4 or Halo. MGS3 sold half of what MGS2 did, but it sill cracked 3 million.

MGS4 will sell good, even as a mid-summer release.

The metal gear solid series has sold more then call of duty 4, and sold more copies then the halo series until halo 3 came out, once metal gear solid 4 comes out, it'll continue to have sold more copies...as far as it goes compared to gta I have no idea

Halo 3 sold more in the first 24 hours than MGS3 sold total in its lifetime. It broke the sales record that was held by Halo 2 and held the record until GTA broke it a few weeks ago. COD4 actually sold more than Halo 3 last year, in part cause it's on every platform available.

That's why I picked those 3 games.

MGS will sell great, but it isn't going to break any records. I'd be suprised if it matched GTA's sales on the PS3.

mgs4 is extremely popular, lol- youre going by a stupid thing on gamespot thats probably based on gamefly rentals.

mgs4 isnt popular?? just go to the mgs4 page on gamespot here and look at the packed forums.
