I have just bought a PS3 and am waiting for MGS4 to arrive, but since I never owned a PS2 I never got to play MGS3 (I played 1 on PSX and 2 on Xbox). I was wondering if they might release it for purchase on PS3 store (sorry I've only had my PS3 a day or so I forgot the name of it lol).

you're asking if they'll release mgs3 on the store? no that will most likely never happens since only ps1 games are released there...

you could still get all of them for 30 bucks, not in the ps3 store, if you have an 80 or 60gig ps3

if you have the old ps3 suchas 60 or 80gb then get the essential collection or just download the database for free.

I have the 40gb thats why I was asking. I didn't know they only released PSX games on there I only just got it.

Even if they did release start releasing PS2 games on the PSN store, a 40gb still wouldn't be able to play them.

I thought maybe that just because a PS3 40gigster can't read PS2 disks, it didn't mean that if they released it on the store it still wouldn't play. Like I said I'm very new to the PS3 so I'm not up to date on this stuff yet.

well in the future hopefully people with non 20,60,80 gb PS3 can play PS2 games since PS3 with BC run PS2 cd's as a emulator
