MGS1, RE1: Director's Cut, and.....FF7 coming to USA PSN store!

We've all had the same thought. With the enourmous library of PlayStation One titles at Sony's disposal, why haven't more PSOne Classics made their way to the PS Store?

Well soon enough, you won't have to ask that question again, as the word is that Sony will be bringing a big chunk of PSN classics to the North American PS Store. Even more specific, they plan on bringing 3 of the titles which helped make PlayStation king. Those 3 titles are Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil: Director's Cut, and (drum roll please…) Final Fantasy VII.

No mention of when exactly this is going to happen, but you can expect them soon.

lol i actually got into the final fantasy series a little late as my first FF game was FFX and thats why i missed all the games before FFX. thanks to square enix for their remakes i got to play FF1 and 2 on psp, FF3 and 4 on DS, FF5, and 6 on my ps3 now :P but for 7 i had a hard time finding the game and i think its like $200 on e-bay :(. hope sony have it on the store so i could finally have all the FF games :P.

I was able to pick up a mint hard copy of FF VII in a lot on ebay for $8 last year. Might be a good time to sell.

I don't really like FFVII, but then again, I've never finished it. I'll buy it just for the sake of having it so I don't have to look on ebay for it. This is a game where I don't really care about having a hard copy. I'll eventually play it I guess.

I have all these games on disc still, but f the discs, i wanna play them whenever hassle and disc free. When are they coming again?

YES! I'm buying all 3 of them!!! Although I got MGS1. I have never got to play the first RE and never played any of the FF games.
