i would sell it. 80 gb doesnt mean anything, i got a 320 gb hdd in my ps3. also, metal gear is coming out in a few days, so he could just use some of the profit he makes on ebay to buy mgs4. i would sell it if i were him

No way! Console boxes are to be preserved in the highest quality so as to remind the gamer of how it felt to take it home for the first time...

I'd sell it, he could get like $1000 right now for it since its 5 days before release. Plus i already have a PS3 so selling it wouldn't really bother me.
lol lucky, i say exchange the HDD in both ps3's, keep the 40GB now 80GB gunmetal grey, and return the 80GB now 40GB black console and use the money from that on other things, thats what i would probably do *shifty eyes*
im ganna have to vote sell it....yes mgs4 = amazing, but he could def make a profit off of that and he already has a gunmetal version preordered, he should sell for profit then just play mgs4 on june 12 like everyone else...other wise hes stuck with 2 copies and an extra ps3...which isnt a bad thing but i would rather have the extra money in my pocket.

He wouldnt be in idiot if he could sell it on ebay for twice as much. Pre-orders for the MGS4 bundle are already going for $899 on Ebay. Sure it's stupid because we're only 4 days from launch but there are people that would shell out the money for it. I guess people with big pockets. If it sells it for like a cool thousand, because he has the MGS4 bundle in-hand, he wont be such an idiot anymore, will he? I know, some of the people on this thread are calling him an idiot. Maybe you guys are jealous or just being real honest. Let him be. He bought it with his money. And the fact that he posted on Youtube makes him somewhat of a weirdo but who cares. All I can say is, 4 days. You guys will get yours and it will be even sweeter when you get.
