I actually think that I'm going to like MGS4 better than GTA4. Even though GTA4 is a great game that I just bought I think I'm going to be more impressed with MGS4. With GTA4 I just have not been over the top impressed with it and was much more impressed with cod4 when I played that game the first time. Maybe if GTA4 had more places you could enter, better cover system, and I can't but think that the online could be better. I think the online is almost too big and since there isn't much of a cover system its just not as good as what I would of liked. Maybe its because I've played all the past GTA games since the ps2 and the game is just getting old. I don't know but I was expecting more and I wouldn't exactly give the game a 10 either at least not up to this point but maybe my opinion of the game will change more as time goes on but like I said I'm still more impressed with Cod4 and that game came out several months ago.

they're two different games, GTA4 is open world with a ton of fun chores and other activities, that are cool. and MGS4 is a tactical espionage action game, that has a very powerful story, maybe even more so then GTA 4. i think you cant say one's better then the other whenthey're both different.

They maybe different games but you can still compare games based on graphics, gameplay, sound, replay value,etc.... The games don't have to be the same genre to comapre. Do movies have to be in the same genre to say what movie you like better? All I'm saying is that GTA 4 is a decent game but based on what I've played I still like cod4 better and I wouldn't be surprised if I like MGS4 better as well. I know with MGS4 it won't feel like its the same game. I'm still going to keep playing GTA4 but I was expecting more for a game that got 10's across the board like it did but its still a good game. You can compare games based on how impressed or unimpressed you were with them within the first few hours.

I also think that the driving in GTA4 is too difficult with lots of the cars and I think they should of included some type of speed meter to tell how fast your going.

ok first of all man COD4 and GTA IV are two different games as well...the two main differences i think are definately the fact that you could take cover and the fact that COD4 is a first person shooter and GTA IV is in 3rd person, oh and the driving is great you just have to get used to it and once you do you will see that the driving in this game is the best of all GTA games.....but besides that both games are worth getting completely pick up both of them and just have some fun....oh the game mode on GTA IV Cops n' Robbers (what i call it) is the best game mode there is.

Here's a thought, how about we wait till the game is actually is actually released and people play it before we judge which game is better. Then again, I think that game that is coming out in two years that no one has heard of yet is going to be better than both of these!
