yep to play online you got to get MGO infact they are diffent games just using the same engine. you dont need MGS4 to play MGO when it comes out, but there will be a demo in MGS4 for it
MGS4 will have the starter pack for MGO, which will only have like 5 maps or something like that. You'll have to buy the complete MGO package for the full experience.
