To the people asking about GAME. I bought it from their site. It was posted yesterday, free delivery. I know someone who works at my local sorting office and told him if there was any packages there for me to bring it asap.

It looks amazing. It oozes quality. Fans of the series are gonna love this. It runs in 1080p too. I need to go play it now. I'll probably be on later though. I will not post any spoilers so don't worry folks. I'm a huge fan of the series myself and I'd hate it if someone spoiled anything for me.

Going to be a long wait, plus Im not going at the midnight release..so its more than 24 hours for me..and Im going to school Thursday. So...3pm Thursday Ill go and get it.

I would have to agree with you. If he ordered it online there is no way they would have sent it to him before the actual release date. um actually, Game usually sends me preordered copies of games to me either on the release date or a day before. this is believeable. i don't see why he would bother lying a day before anyway...

You lucky so and so! GAME are very good for sending out their pre-orders a day early. They did the same with my Turok and The Game. Why I didn't pre-order online is beyond me! Have to wait til tomorrow! I maybe 36 but deep down I'm 16 and want it now, now, now, now, NOOOOOWWWWW!!!! lol

i have it preordered and paid for at a local gamestop, and they are doing a midnight release. only problem is I live in the cedar falls, waterloo area in Iowa and we are having the worst flooding in the history of the state so Im not sure if I will get my game tonight, let alone ever. count your lucky stars that you guys don't live here and you can play mgs4 this week!

I probably have to wait like another 2 weeks or so before it gets released over here in Egypt, but i've got DMC 4 so it shoulf keep me busy plus i'm still trying to get 100% in GTA IV and i've got to finish up MGS: Twin Snakes, Sons Of Liberty and Snake Eater so i'm gonna be pretty busy.

Plus I might be getting The Bourne Conspiracy any day now.

I beleive the TC for two reasons. 1, it's coming out tomorrow. 2) Many online retailers send it out early so it arrives the day of release. Unfortunately because I had gift cards I ordered mine online from FYE only to find out that they don't ship them out until the day of release. So, I don't expect to receive mine until Saturday or more likely Monday.

Just thought I'd post this while I wait for the install. I really didn't think it would come today. Really big games like this don't usually come until release day. If you want to know anything (NON SPOILERIFIC) ask and I'll see what I can do. I won't be on for long though. Got some MGS4 to play. x-2tha-z

Yeah i got mine today from play.

Played the first hour or less, having a break while my tea is cooking and going to watch the euro 08 game and then spend the rest of the night playing it, if you want to play some MGO later let me know(i didnt play in the beta so im interested to see what its like).

Yeah it was just 8mins or maybe less, its around 4.6gb, but at the end it says metal gear will need to install some data later on in the game, but on the back it says 4.6 gb min so i assume with the later installs it will not take up more than 4.6gb.
