MGS4 is the best looking game that I have ever seen of any game that I ever played from PS3(4 games) and Xbox360(53 games) and PC(over hundred games). I just got my 80gb PS3 a few days ago and I am just starting to play MGS4 and all I can say is WOW! I am really glad that I got it. I knew that I would like it as I have played all of the other MGS games. This game has great graphics, great gameplay, and so far everything about it is just fraking great!
You all have got to be kidding. It's a good game, excellent story, but the best looking game of all time? Never played Crisis, but the video's I've seen blow MGS4 away, IMO. The explosions are better in Crisis, and the character animations are way below a number of games I've played. Not bad by any means, but not the best on any system.

AGREED... except for the explosions part. I find the explosions in MGS4 no different than Crysis. Also character animations, the character animations during cutscenes on both are comparable. If you mean realtime gameplay... then yeah. Only problem MGS4 actually even has would be occasional messed up textures and the shadows.
...Though I think I'd have more fun playing MGS4 than Crysis. :P

Never played crysis, just seen the video's. The explosions looked great from what I remember, but that could be a little scewed being from what I remember and all. I thought the animations (in-game) were a little jerky. I'll take your word on Crysis though since I never played it. MGS4 is a great game though, just thought some of the graphics, just, well they were good, but nothing special. One of the better games this generation though.
