MGS4 is the finale for Mr. Kojima, but what's next?

Metal Gear Solid 4 is the final game for Hideo Kojima. But what will he do after it?
He may be working with the upcoming MGS movie, but what about upcoming games?

This is a question I have had in my mind for a while now.

Will it be another game series whit the same intense feeling that MGS gives you? Will it be something else?

I think Kojima would like the pass along the MGS series to someone his can trust... I mean, he wanted to quit after MGS2 hence the theme in MGS2 and the monologue by Snake at the end. Then, Kojima got dragged back to do MGS3 and 4... He realised, the only way he can pass down his legacy is to kill of Snake and let his team start of fresh.

Kojima always want it to start a new series, that's why during the busy hours of producing MGS2, he managed to find the time to produce Zone of the Enders, a great series, BTW. Kojima will probably continue making the ZOE series and start a 'RAW' game series as this is the motto or why Kojima Productions exist in the first place.

Kojima has expressed a lot of interest in making games for the Wii. I have a feeling he'll toy around with some casual Wii games before moving on to his next big thing.

His next big thing will probably be another Zone Of The Enders game. I remember hearing an IGN podcast where someone (I believe Jeremy or Hilary) saying that Kojima told him that he wanted to finish MGS so he could do something that he's wanted to do for a very long time. I'm hoping it's a new ZoE game, or maybe a successor to Policenauts or Snatcher. Whatever it is, it'll be amazing.

why would you end a great series? sure, you can change the characters and story, but I sincerely doubt that MGS4 will be the last epionage game that they will make.

MGS is a heavily story driven game. I think they just wanna start of with a new character and story, thats all.

It's not that end for him. Metal Gear will always be around. He even said he will always be a part of the series, even if not directly involved with the game.zamardii12

I dont think they will make a halo 4 because that story is over, but they will probably make Master Chief the beginning, or something of that nature. It will be a halo game without halo in the title
