MGS4 isn't exclusive?????

If you could take a look at www.gametab.com you will see that there are some articles that say that MGS4 also going to be a  360 title.

If that isn't enough they also say that the 360 game will get exclusive content. Is this a *** joke. Why does the ps3 won't get that content. Is it because the bluray disk is to "small". Or does the 360 game come out on 3 dvd's. Or are this articles bull***t and should I take my ps3 back for his coffin. Flame on people.

nothing is confirmed until Konami/Kojima state it.

and just so you know, MGS2 was also on the Xbox.  It sold horribly though so Konami decided not to release MGS3 on the Xbox.  They may try their luck again.  But one thing is for sure, if it is released on the 360, it will be atleast a year after the PS3's release.

I bought ps3 for its exclusive games and MGS4 is one of them. But if all does games go to the other consoles to, I bought that expensive ps3 for nothing. It's strange that multiple site give this information. That's why I thing that the aren't joking. And it isn't the 1th of april.

this was a RUMOR that a hard core funboy stared in the forums of system was at gamespot.......This is proven wrong and he copied the article from ign and changed some words

So the next time you see one having an anxiety attack over the MGS4 to 360 rumours, just pat him on the head and soothingly say, "Yes, MGS4 will be on the 360. Don't worry little one your purchase has bee justified."

You'll want to give him a teddy bear and a blankie then and gently sing the Halo theme song until he drifts into sleep and starts having masturbatory dreams about the achievements that he has won. It's a lot of work, I know, but these people just need a little lovin'.

I`m not sure why some fanboys makes such a big deal about this. They tried selling it for xbox, but it didn`t sell. Why would konami even bother releasing it for xbox again?

Ok people, listen. I'm a big fan of my 360 and I totally agree all these rumors are just stupid. I personally don't much care about MGS4 or any other of them. If it comes to 360 I'm happy because I get to try a well respected game. But frankly, PS3 fans seem to care about this way more then 360 fans do. All I hear is an uproar of "I hate the 360, I hate Halo and I hate everyone who likes them!!!" when I come to a topic on PS3 forums related to game exclusivity. I'm sorry but that sounds a little petty to me. Not to say 360 fanboys aren't petty and immature as well but I don't defend them. Like you guys have said, this rumor has been around the block more times then (fill in dumb joke here) and I have to wonder why can't people (360 and PS3 a-like) just be quiet and go about their day. I'll care when someone that matters formally announces it. I suggest you all do the same.

Please don't flame me, I got nothing against PS3, it's a well-built console that has a bright future.

i remember reading somewhere that eather the makers of MGS or squar enix said they refuse to make their game for the 360. dont know if it was true or not or which group is was but just figured i would throw it out there. StarKiller2127

neither would have said it about "their games"...since Square has released games or plan on releasing games for the 360 and Konami has released games on the 360.

They may have been referring to one of their games though(FF13 - Square, MGS4 - Konami)

It's all about the money. Sony will have to give Konami a HUGE bonus to buy exclusivity, espcially if the PS3 is not selling well. There are absolutely no reasons why Konami wouldn't release a 360 version since it has sold the most units to date. and Hideo Kojima has already stated that he is developing the game for the PS3.  What else is there to say?  He is the game's director and his company is developing the game.

DMC4 was made in japan but capcom is not just japan. Plus capcom have a different business plan, and it's to spead the product, konami not so much.

I hate to say it but, its coming to the 360.  There are to many sites saying that it is, and its only timed exclusive which is why Kojima can't confirm it for the 360 yet. This is the Devil may cry syndrome all over again. Every one KNEW that DMC wasnt coming to the 360....LOL.....wrong. peoeple were swearing that it was all rumor.....and yet after a bit of time it was revealed that DMC is now a multiplatform.

You gotta remeber that Kojima works for Konami, not the other way around, Konami has final say on porting and the PS3 fanbase just isnt big enough, to make them money. I understand its hard for you guys to comprehend this but there are going to be very few exclusives this gen, with the 360 actually having more as of right now.

I just sold my PS3 today at gamestop for 450.00, because there are no games coming this year that I want for the PS3. LAIR and Drakes fortune look mediocre to me. All multiplatforms will have better online and content for the 360, so Im going that way, and MGS4 will be on the 360 multi-disc or not, you guys are just gonna have to come to that realization and deal with it.

The PS3 is a phenomonal deal for what you get tech wise and durability wise, but it fails IMO to do what its suppose to do, and that is to be a PS console. Were are the great games and exclusives? Sony is pushing this whole Blu-ray thing and the cell and all this stuff....yet they keep losing exclusives by the dozens, and even Sony it self has yet to push a game that utilizes the Cell and blu-ray, with compression and other techniques, Resistance and other games could have more than fit on DVD, had Obliivon had more dev time the 360 version would have been on par or better than the PS3 version.

 Honestly just deal with the fact that MGS4 will be on the 360, the sooner you do that the longer the petition will be to not have it made for the 360.  For me I may pick another one up in a few years, but the 360 is fullfilling my gaming needs...with out teh blu-ray or teh cell.

Correction 1: Its called FOOTBALL dammit. American football was born AFTER the REAL FOOTBALL so it should be American Soccer and Football for the sport most of the world plays!!

Correction 2: Winning Eleven also known as Pro Evolution Soccer is not exclusive but Konami decided to release the 08 edition earlier on PS3 and cancell the PS3 one. PSP and PS2 still got their version as the DS got one too. Yeah, hell of an exclusive

since the game isn't going to be released for atleast another year, it's hard to play the "not enough userbase" card.  You could easily say that the PS3 will have a 10 million user base by then. 

actually, no sites have any concrete information. 

and Kojima's company is developing the game.  He has already stated that HE is developing the game for the PS3.  Now there's no telling if Konami will port the game or not, but Kojima's company won't be doing the developing. 

Good to see that you sold your PS3.  I will be laughing when you buy another one because you want the games that are coming out for the PS3.
