I found an article that says that Metal Gear Solid 4 will not be a PS3 exclusive anymore. This better not be true.

oh yeah and, mgs4 is coming out in a 10 disk set for ps2, 50 ds cartriges, 30 umds for psp's... PS3 EXCLUSIVE!!! and the game will definately boost the ps3 sales.Judonwanit

Kojima already said it, that mgs4 is going to be made for the theater, not dvd quality so if u didnt know he meant ps3 as the theater, and xbox 360 as the dvd player, so thanx for the one millionth waste of a thread. :)

This rumor is false. If you check on xbox360 fanboy website, they have an article that explains the new rumor as false. It was made up at the xbox.com forum. Some stupid fanboy stirred up this commotion. Don't believe these rumors. MGS4 will always be an exclusive to the PS3.jay_k3

From everything I've seen the rumour was actually started by Ron Workman.  A guy who has been correct on other things.

That said I think on also has to be clear what Workman actually said....He called it a timed exclusive.  That it will be 360 bound one year after it comes out for the PS3.  Not unlike a past incarnation of  MGS game and what GTA:SA was.

But i am in complete agreement that there is no need for thread after thread after thread on this topic.

We'll all know within a few months whether or not it happens.  The only thing we know is that if Konami thinks they can make more money by porting it they will do so.  They will evaluate all factors to make that decision.

I said this before and I'll say it again. WHO CARES! As long as I get to play it on the PS3, that's good enough for me.
