hey all, ive been doing research before i buy the game, and i definitely want to play online. now, ive read that it is a hassle to play online. like it lags, you need a konami id in addition to the psn account, to delete a guy you have to wait weeks before doing so, etc. is it really a hassle and are those facts true. also does it cost money? and are there people still online???
first off it doesnt cost anything. but it really is a pain in the ass at first with the Konami ID, but just remember it and its all good. the online is great, but im not too much a fan cuz i get smoked all the time :P but i love it and have the best connection in that game. LBP is the only game ive played with crappy connection since theres no lobbies, but MGSO is really a great add to the game. the single player alone is truly worth it, and the online just adds
Personally I never experienced any lag while playing, but it is a bit of a hassle to actually get online. I forget the process exactly, but it involved making new accounts and filling some stuff out but it wasnt that bad, I would still recommend going online if your going to buy MGS4.
im addicted 2 mgs online,i play it 4 about 1 year...man its awesome,u dont need 2 pay 4 it but if u want 2 get the expensions(recomend it bc u can play as raiden,vamp,ocelot,mei ling,meryl and akiba)Making the id? u will only have 2 do it one time,its not that painfull
It is a pain to sign up and you "MIGHT" not like the overall online experience. MGO has had mix reaction, so just try for yourself...you might be one of those people who absolutely love the game. If not, the single campaign still makes it worth the purchase.
