MGS4 or Haze?

Well, I'm kinda screwed, I know I'll just love MGS4 but once you finish it, it's done and you can't really play it together with friends and that's a thing I really appreciate in a game. And then there is Haze, a 'solid' shooter but nothing special and certainly not a masterpiece in shooters but it has 4 player co-op offline and online and a terrific (i think, timesplitters multiplayer was awesome too) online mulitplayer. Then here is the problem I'll only have money for one of them... Maybe I should just wait and buy MGS4 or Haze back late in the summer (end of July, beginning of August)..

Well what should I do?

If I'm not mistaken MGS4 will contain the MGO starter pack. Which will contain a few maps from MGO, so it will have a small online component.

Also MGS4 is going to easily be one of the best games of the year, while Haze will probably be a fun, but nothing too special shooter.

Haha, that's the thing, I don't have money for both because I already pre-ordered GTA4... Ok, I'll go with MGS4 then and maybe I'll buy Haze when it's in the bargain bin or just buy it on ebay..

I just finished playing MGS1 the other day and started playing MGS2 yesterday for like the 50th time, man i dont how u can say that once its finished its done. dude, don't get all crazy, i played it a couple of times on my neighbours console (i didn't own any mgs game) and i thought it was great but i thought it was a long game but once you're done you're done, i was wrong then...

I've played MGS 3 and I've played it over again 3-5 times and it was still fun!

Haze looks like an average FPS I rather go and get games like killzone 1 or area 51 (the first one) plus more ppl would be playing the mgs 4 online than haze cause mgs 4 is more popular

BOTH, but if you have to choose one get MGS4 first and Haze later (or not at all if by the time you get around to it KZ2 and Resistance 2 are out). I am getting Haze and my bro is getting MGS4 so it works out for us. Maybe you should find a friend and do the same. jyoung312

So yer if you have another person in the family that plays games get them to buy you one game

I disagree with your comment about MGS4 being a one-time experience. The games are famous for their playability over multiple playthroughs, and the game has an online component (MGO). Frankly, the game looks amazing.

Haze looks like a prety good shooter. I'd get MGS4 though.

MGS4 just for these tiny reasons:

1. It's the most anticipated game on the PS3.

2. It's the conclusion to one of the most amazing gaming storylines ever.

if you can only buy one game this year, its MGS4 over any other game on any other system, but yeah im getting both, haze looks awesome

MGS4 comes with a sort of demo to call it something of MGO. You can play MGO and will also come with some maps. The full MGO will como out later and I suppose it would be in the 40 zone. Kind of like MGS PO+ I guess. But this is most likely cause of Konami, I dont think Hideo would want to do this.

eitherway tho there will be some wort of workable version of mgo on the actual disk of mgs4?

that would be convenient tho i think they would do that and then when the finished game comes there will be like an update or sumthing? tht you have to pay for? to get the full game

I admit I'm a little biased here, but MGS4 easily.

Haze looks good too though but more like a rent for me.
