So, I'm getting a PS3 this summer (Had to cash in my wii to do so) and well, the main appeal of the PS3 is that, well its not much more than a Blu-Ray player and can play some awesome games. Now, here's where things get tricky, I really wanna play some old sony games (Final Fantasy, Vagrant Story, Chrono....) and some slightly newer PS2 ones (Final Fantasy 10 and 12, Shadow of the Collosus.....) so, I've been thinking about getting the MGS4 pack although MGS4 isn't really my thing. It is only $500 for an 80GB PS3 which would mean that I'd be able to play PS1 AND PS2 games, correct? And if not are there still 60 and 80GB PS3s on shelves?

yes, the 80GB plays MOST ps2 and ps1 games. the 40 only plays ps3 obviously an ps1 games. both the 60 and 80 gig have been discontinued unless you get lucky and find one some where. but the 80 gb mgs bundle is obviously coming out in june. just look up the info on gs' ps3 hardware resource center page.
