I called using my cell phone. I talked directly to someone after selecting OPTION 1 for genereal inquiries. (option 2, order status, option 3 cancel, option 4 defective - just for proof)

KONAMI WORKER HIMSELF STATED: The warranty for the PS3 is covered by SONY as NORMAL, and will be the NORMAL PS3 warranty period. KONAMI covers the GAME ONLY.

I am seriouly grateful for loyal intelligent people like you on Gamespot.

I encourage anyone to please call for themselves, use a cell phone if you're worried about long distance (I'm not familiar with 310 numbers) and ask them about the PS3's warranty within the bundle.

It's sad we even have to call.

This is common sense, really. Bundles of any game have always still had the typical Sony warranty for the console, and this game wouldn't be any different. All it takes is one person to read something incorrectly, or to bend the truth, and we get 10 more people believing them. :roll: No wonder cults have been so successful over and over again...

Technically that would be a hardware issue since the PS3 is supposed to release the game. (although it's understandable why the PS3 would want to hold on to such a masterpiece lol)

It's a limited edition color and includes the LIMITED EDITION of MGS4 which the 80GB lacks.
