MGS4 Score will it be like this?

Before you vote the whole reason for having the same score of 8 all the time is that my point is being that GS will try to make every little thing about this game might be flawed just a bit not make the bad at all but not make it perfect lower the score instantly from a 9.5 to an 8, I mean I've seen it happen so far on this sight and I hope to god it doesn't happen this time around on this game which we are all looking forward to coming already.

Don't know about you but hey if they gave R&C a what was it 7.5 no? For it being "Too Easy" why can't any of these things happen?

Heck going from GS's background for reviewing sony games I hope this great game manages to scrape a 8.5.

The best I can hope for that GS will come to it's senses soon and stop getting their money from M$ and start looking more into the game their playing not on which console their playing it at :(.

You may argue and give valid points and I agree not all GS reviews so far were biased and allot of them made sense but so far I have seen too many GS reviews on great PS3 exclusives and they didn't give these games their scores they deserved based on a flaw which generally happened with those game genres from just about any other game of that particular genre.

Let's hope MGS gets the score it deserves for better or for worse I wouldn't care if it did get an 8 but only if they gave good reasoning to it and not say something stupid like I got hamaroids from watching too many cut scenes so this game wasn't good?

I mean it was said on MGS2 from what I remember still that game got excellent reviews and on good account 2 :).

Without picking the options you put in the poll I think the game will get 9.5, just because of the hype it is getting and the excellent previews it is receiving from gaming sites.

Yes it will probably get a 9 at least if GS would come to their senses about how they review PS3 games and instead of looking at the game while playing it for any sort of flaw and not looking on it's good sides enough, this game may not see the promised score or 9 which I think most of us agree it deserves and yes I know it's not out yet but common It's MGS4 If this would flop the world will be flat :x.loggerz

For being honest in my opinion the most underrated game on the PS3 its R&C (8.5 at least) and Uncharted (definitely a 9)

mgo will be a solid 9, mgs4 will be an 8 or 8.5 because it doesn't have online, is too short, is linear, is not an fps (oh but wait it is...-_-),you cant play the game in german or spanish on the american version

I hope they rate MGS4 for what it is. Just because it is a major Sony exclusive, it shouldn't automatically get a 9.5. If it's a crap game, the review should reflect that (not saying it is going to be).LtColJaxson

GameSpot gave Portable Ops a 9. Since they increment the score 0.5, MGS4 will most likely hit 9.5 or 10 on GameSpot. Hey GS, MGS4 is 1000000000 times better than PO. AgentH

I think you are confused with some other game, there is no way the series has gone downhill, it got better with each installments, and MGS4 is looking to follow that root.

They are gonna go on about the graphics just like with GTA4. But if they dont on GTA4 and do it on MGS4 Gamespot should just burn in fanboy hell.

I said it before and I'll say it again, GameSpot might give this a 10, seriously according to every preview released about this game, the game is FLAWLESS! Plus, remember the Boot Camp with the 16 journalists? They gave Kojima Productions' staff feedbacks after playing and finishing the whole game, you can clearly confirm that Kojima wants it to be flawless and perfect!

lol That's what they said about R&CF:TOD. EVERYWHERE on the net, the game got 9.0 or higher. I think it averaged somewhere around 9.2-9.4. GameSpot was the ONLY site to give it a crap score of 7.5, which is not only lower than the others, but significantly ridiculous in every respect.

I can only imagine what strange reason they could give MGS4 a crap score. But that's what my little paragraph was about above ^, imitating what most likely they will complain about with the game.
