It's all about money.  If Konami thinks they can make more money by releasing it on the 360 they will do so.  If they think they can make a new MGS game for the Wii and make money they will do so.

For the record the source of the rumour is Ron Workman from destructoid.com.  If you don't believe it let him know.  He's being pretty adamant about it.  It being a 1 year timed exclusive for Sony similar to GTA:SA.

Either way it's wait in see. Money talks.

And there definitely need not be 28 threads a day on it.

Hoho excellent. Thank u, thank u for entertaining me. Idiotic microsoft fanboys make me laugh. Really, ports from PS3 to xbox1.5 are doomed because of the lack of HD in Cores and the use of DVD9s of which something like 3 gig is used for protection or something. And the biggest obstacle is the fact that PS3 boast 7 cores, something xbox1.5 couldn't handle nor anyones gaming-PC. They may be able to port xbox1.5 games to PS3 but it's impossible to do it vice versa. Or some serious downgrading would be needed. This of course doesn't apply to launch games since most of em could be ported to xbox1.5. Like VF5 for example but I don't think it's possible to add online gaming to it coz the game really can't handle any lagg. It's a whole different game from DoA which only sells because of them ladies in teh game.

Really, would u want to play a game with something like 8 DVDs? I wouldn't but hey that's why I chose Wii and PS3 :P. Nope that's not the reason but xbox.15 was outdated when it was launched. If current xbox1.5 games take multiple DVDs what will happen in th3 futur3 in which PS3 will be dominant or more likely Wii but xbox1.5 lost to both of em already. Oh and MGS2 on xbox was a bad port and the controls sucked because of the terrible controller (BTW one of 4 xbox games I've actually finished). And a similar port would be impossible to get because by the time MGS4 gets released developers realize that PS3 is the dominant console. Then there would be no reason to make a port and Kojima himself said MGS4 is for PS3.

U can always claim that MGS4 is coming to xbox1.5 and proof how idiotic u really are or just stop and admit your defeat. xbox1.5 will get the next Splinter Cell so u shouldn't bother with MGS4 and u wouldn't even understand half of the story, being an xbox1.5fan...

you should really check my posting history before calling me a "fanboy".  of my 9400 posts, over 9000 of them are on this forum defending the PS3 against those idiotic fanboys that you talk about.  But I guess you saw my signature where I show that I have a 360 and just ASSumed that I was a fanboy because I don't bow down to everything that about the PS3.

IMO, the only way MGS4 won't be ported the x360 is if it manages to sell over 2million on the PS3 alone.

I think Konami will do it either way.  MGS2 was the first Metal Gear on the PS2.   It came out a year after the PS2 launched but the PS2 didn't have a really great userbase yet.  So Konami decided to try it on another platform(even though the other platform was just launching).  It's kinda the same situation this time around, but with the "other platform" having a huge userbase.  I think Konami will test the waters again to see if they can make more money.

it will be cool that kojima say "Metal gear solid 4 is going to be on 2 blu-ray discs " 

this way xbox owners will shut the **** up once and for all :P

no not ever in anybodys life time, do you know how many disc its going to take for MGS4 to be on normal disc? lets just say alot and i know im not working on the game to know this but by Hideo Kojima quote saying "Blu-ray isnt enough for MGS4" then why would they make a cut up downgraded version for other consoles? it just doesnt make sense, O and i like how a MGS fan/xbox360 fanboy owner trys to get a series over to his console just because he's too cheap to buy a PS3 (the way i see it he and other Gaming Reporters that are xbox360 fanboys put out enough rumors and reports of it not being a exclusive then maybe the company would make MGS4 an multiplatform game kind of sad this is like making a petition except no ones signing the dam thing)

the add on will be opitional though. . So 360 discs are still going to be standard dvd discs
