Wow, people are real gougers on eBay. I can't believe the prices they ask for stuff, for instance:

MGS4 Bluetooth headset

Gamestop - $54.99

eBay - $74.99

MGS4 LE (Gamestop limited)

Gamestop - $84.99

eBay - $199.99

MGS4 PS3 40GB bundle (Gun Metal)

Konami - $599.99

eBay - $1000.00

What kind of idiot pays that much for this stuff!? Those prices don't even include shipping! I know people are trying to make money, but c'mon, those prices are ridiculous.

The only reason I was looking is because I was trying to sell my standard edition for $50. I only played it for less then an hour. I went to Gamestop to trade some stuff in and they had a couple LE left, so I picked one up because of the bonus blu-ray. Now I'm just going to trade the standard one in and not even bother. People are crazy how much they want for stuff. One of the guys on eBay says that the LE is "extremely difficult to get!", which is BS, because most Gamestops still have some left. This is just a rant. Sorry. :)

Edit: Apparently the $1000 PS3 comes with an autographed strategy guide signed by Hideo and some other chick. Still, that's nott worth another $400. :?

Yeah, some of the prices on Ebay are insane. I understand they have to price their items higher because of Ebay seller fee, monthly dues, and paypal fees, as well as insertion fees but they're kind of ridiculous. Especially the MGS4 LE bundle (gunmetal). Although, I think the MGS4 LE bundle is a little overpriced. If it was a 80GB model gunmetal, I'm sure it would have sold more. I certainly would have purchased it.

The prices you seen on Ebay would have probaly been somebody's highest bid, it's upto the bidder to decide how much they want to pay.

its ebay...what do you expect. the prices are actually always random as hell. sometimes there are dirt cheap brand new games and other times it will be three or four times the retial price. some people believe the more you pay the better the item will be when the used item is just the same

Possibly with the exception of the PS3 bundle. The $1000 is the 'buy now' price. There's no option to bid on it. :?

Believe it or not, they dont go for much. I picked mine up recently (2 weeks ago) for only $10, in mint condition. The prices for used Metal Gear Solid (PSX) range from $10-50. Scan through all the Metal Gear Solid games and look at the prices, then set your price.
