MGS4 will win the consol war for PS3

I just watched the trailer for mgs4 and I forgot about the end where he says "what is the cell processer?" and then otacon says "its the key to winning the consol war". and at the vary end some random guy says mgs4 ion ps3 will be well worth the wait.

I cant wait till it comes out and blows queers of war away

Well, MGS4 will definitely increase the sells of the PS3. Since it is an exclusive, it will be harmful to the 360 and the Wii.

Just play what you enjoy and let others play what they enjoy. I will be playing MGS4 and Oblivion. Xbox 360 owners will play Gears of war 2 and Halo 3... If you want to play both buy both systems...simple as that

True to some extent but see the sales of X360 before Gears Of War and after it!!The console made its name only after that game so MAY BE mgs 4 does the same for ps3.

Exactly.  MGS3 sold around 3 milltion and the install base was over 25 million. Games and a lower price is what will help. The average gamer don't care too much for those other things. Look at the Wii

to me the PS3 isnt a console (its so much more) there fore its not in that stupid war but MGS4 is most def going to set boundaries to how a game is pose to be made and send a message to all the developers and game makers saying "Get Yo Game Together"

anybody who doesn't like mgs is brain-dead....

but i cant wait for this game...its 1 out of many selling points and thats why il be gettin a ps3.

but im more excited about warhawk...if its plays as good as i hope its will be amazing

I remembered It's EGM magazine gave a 10 perfect Metal Solid Gear game on PSX. 

 When MGS 4 will be out, all videogame magaines give 10/10 perfect. it's possible not all? 

y isnt it possible??, mgs4 is going to change the way next next gen games are made and looked at. It has no pre-rendered buildings, meaning u can turn any building you dont like into rubble which will be a first in any game. Also instead of doing a mission in one area then changing to a new area for a new mission like most shooters, you are put in a warzone and have to many missions in that war zone.

The only reason Xbox360 is winning the consol war so far in my mind is because of Gears of War and MGS4 will make people want a ps3. When the xbox came out I stuck to my ps2 because of titles like mgs4, resident evil, gta, and socom. I know gta has gone multiplatform but I think rockstar will change back to just playstation in the future.

Theres no doubt that MGS4 will be a must have title for the PS3. 

im glad everyone enjoyed the queers of war comment, i was proud of myself when i thought of that.

And halo 3 will be the same game as halo 2 except better graphics, more guns, maps, and things to do, it is going to be a great game but not innovative.  MGS4 is innovative and issss going to change next gen shooting games, and listen to the asian kojima when he says the cell processor will win the the consol war, if steryotypes have tought us anything it is that those asians are reallly reallly effing smart

certaily Metal Gear Solid 4 will have a strong impact on ps3's selling but there is also more important games to come especially

for a fan boy the ps3 is always the winner(poor boys), but reality check mgs4 wont save the console from the abyss by itself. the ps3 is in desperate need of good games and by the look of it were getting only one or two good games a year!! the bad sales doesnt help either. developers will rather make games on a low end machine, like wii, that sells rather on a kick ass system and because its all about the money man, theres like 2 or 3 million wiis out, ps3 maybe like lets say half a million. a million wii owner will buy the game compared to the 100,000 ps3 owners that will buy it if they make it on the ps3. in summation they wont make much compared if they make it on wii. im not putting down the ps3 i actually own one (and im planning to buy a wii now because my friends bought it and they actually had fun), but im not disillusioned like you and i accept the fact that sony has to climb a very steep mountain and it will take time for them to recover. a game cant save it period. i sure do hope that they convince some developers to stay exclusive if not then whats the incentive to buy it?aerialstrike

answer me this question what games did the xbox360 have in the first 6months worth playing? the answer is oblivion(which the ps3 has with more stuff in it). the ps3 is doing well for starting a year after the xbox360 and has 3 games so far that make it worth playing. and in the near future alot of great games are comming out which will make the ps3s first year more productive then xbox's
