Mgs5 Solid Snake Revival? How? Ask Naomi

First of all, the thread question, is Solid going to be the playable character in Mgs5, even if it is a sequel to 4? And of course, lets asume Ol Snake is too old then.

Answer, when Solid met Naomi in 4 she did some scans on his Dna, can't remember what exactly, but there was that one single scene, showing Naomis monitor with 'copying Solid Snake'. More over, in that lab was a grown up size incubator. (or a solarium). So we will get another clone, a 1:1 clone from Solid.

It will all be explained in MGS5

In a 20 hour long cutscene :D Wich also will handle the topics of marketing, vampires, car commercials and a pink elephant on a wirerope

It has to be something other than Old Snake, so probably a clone or some kind of cure that he gets to make him healthy, alive, and younger again.

I rather Kojima put his talent behind creating a brand new franchise. The idea of Solid Snake's children is just dumb and basically repeating the Les Enfants Terribles storyline. It would essentially be a reboot of the franchise and that's just awful, waste of Kojima's talent.

it was explained that none of Big Boss's clones could have children or be cloned again, so if they wanted a new Solid Snake, they'd have to create him from Big Boss like they did with the first. plus, a clone would have to spend years growing up and being trained (his accelerated aging didn't start until after the Big Shell incident). Finally, he just wouldn't be the same person; it wouldn't be the Solid Snake that defeated Big Boss, infiltrated Shadow Moses and killed Liquid, went through the Tanker and Big Shell incident, brought an end to Guns of the Patriots, and put Liquid Ocelot to rest. It would just be someone that looked like him.

If the story is about Solid Snake it has to be before MGS4. It could be between MGS2 and MGS4 or maybe even remakes of the first two Metal Gears.anime_gamer007

I am hoping for the later, actually. I would love him to remake MG and MG2. He could combine them into one game.

I think it'll end up being a prequel, but all will be explained in time.

solid snake never defeated big boss, as he only glimpsed big boss at shadow mosses, there can be a clone made due to big boss still being alive, plus technolgy is far great now than it was then and nioami will sure be able to sort it with otacon. it can work, and how ever he does it, it will as normal, i'm hoping they change the controls to a more fluid way of moving,.

Debrin injected something that fixes his disease.

As you can see in the new MGS game in which you are Big Boss, there are images of kid and a Dog, I bet the kid is Debrin and he met BigBoss back then, so he is loyal to him and not the patriots. And that explains why he injected the cure in MGS4.

My theory is that Debrin injected him something that fixes his disease.

As you can see in the new MGS game in which you are Big Boss, there are images of kid and a Dog, I bet the kid is Debrin and he met BigBoss back then, so he is loyal to him and not the patriots. And that explains why he injected the cure in MGS4, and that is why BigBoss said Snake to LIVE!!!!

I think it'll be set in the late 1970s, starting Big Boss, with Naomi Hunter and Frank Jaegar appearing during the Rhodesian Civil War, which would be an ideal place for Kojima's open world game. There'll probably be some story with Solid Snake (hence his appearance) growing up, and the possibility of The Patriots/Zero starting an all out war against Big Boss.

I thought it was explained clearly that the DNA code was to access the SOP systems and the AIs?

I assume that in this sequel we can play a prequel at least 1 chapter.. I remember the trailer of MGS4 that we can see young snake! and BAM thats only a camo... Its kojima were talking about here, that genius is unpredictable.. I like the idea that theres a prequel and sequel, that never done in mgs series (just like uncharted 3, young nathan drake)

Naomi analyzed Snakes DNAafter drebin injected him, and that's when she learned about the accelerated aging being apart of his DNA, as well as the new foxdie strain. I think she would have noticed if his DNA was being rewritten.

The new foxdie strain killed all of the people who could threaten SOP (Big Boss and Ocelot in particular), the Patriots had no reason to bring Snake back. If anything they would want him gone now, as he's a liability to their plans.
