MGS5, What will happen...

I don't think it's a big secret that Solid Snake will most likely die in MGS4. Kojima plans to kill him off, along with the main Metal Gear story. However, even though he said that he is not planning to make any moreMGS games, he said he left it open for other people to continue making MGS type "spin-offs". But I wonder how good a spin-off would be without the direction of Kojima? Would do you think would be in future MGS games?

I read an article of Kojima saying most of this himself, I'll get it a LINK in a little bit.

Chances are: He kills the ultimate villan and a big boom is heard though the world.

Everyone declares Snake dead.

Then some other villan comes out then a mysterious guy comes to stop him and removes his mask to find out he is Snake.

The villan that comes out will be some random Weapons dealer.

even if Kojima said he won't make another metal gear game, he will be involved somehow, at least as an executive producer. so the game will still have to meet his seal of approval, and his team is respectful eonugh they won't release the game without Kojima's blessing.

also, Kojima Production have some great people other than Kojima. Shuyo Murata made ZoE2, not Kojima, although Kojima is more closely involved with the development then ZoE1. Yoji Shinkawa is just the character and mech design, but he has some input on the gameplay of the game, the last section of mgs3 with the chase sequence is his idea as a playable cutscenes, not Kojima's idea. also, this is just my opinion, but Shinta Nojiri did a very good job with Metal Gear Acid, I personally like it very much, one of my fave game on psp. so don't worry too much about future metal gear. I do hope though they don't call it MGS5 though, drop the title Solid and replace it with something else.
