MGS5 - Who would you want to be the new lead character?

Well if there's gonna be a Metal Gear Solid 5 - who would you want to fill Snake's shoes?

Some characters from the series will be mention in this poll, since we don't know who's gonna go down with Snake.. or who miracuosly makes a come back.. anyways.. VOTE

People....lets get this straight! Metal gear Solid =/= Metal gear! Even I know this!

So MGS4 is the last of the Solid saga!

So this means, unless Kojima wants to end Metal gear for good and exterminates all Metal gears in the end of MGS4, there is still a chance of a new METAL GEAR, NOT METAL GEAR SOLID! BUT, you might as well find a chair to sit while you wait BECAUSE MGS4 ISN'T EVEN OUT!

Well, I would like to enjoy MGS4 before thinking of the next one, I'm excited for MGS4 and can't wait for it to find the conclusion to the story.

At the moment I'm more interested in MGS4.

NOBODY from the Solid Series. No characters can come back. A fresh cast will continue the Metal Gear franchise properly. Anybody returning will be the same story as the last, which will bring the question "Why was MGS4 the final chapter?"

It will completely trash and waste MGS4's status. Metal Gear 5 or Metal Gear [insert name here] should start completely new, fresh slate.

If a NEW MG series is to be done....it has a HUGE mountain to climb to even be compared to the legend of Solid Snake!

I think trying to "compare" to Solid Snake could potentially destroy it, especially right from the start. Also it can't be some complete copycat either.

It's like when people tried to copy Bruce Lee. It was laughable and disgraceful. It never works. Instead, we have Jet Li and Jackie Chan.

I personally hopes he works on an entirely different game. I know Kojima said he does not want to do another MG game but Ihope he does some sort of cinematic type of game.

But to answer your question I would like a MGS5 to be a prequel to MGS4 telling how Raiden became to be the new ninja.

But really I hope they remake Metal Gear & Metal Gear: Solid Snake.

Lastly, I will say if MGS4 is truly the last game, then I will have to say that this would be the one series that has gone through 20 years of flawlessness. No other series to me has kept that elite status and delivered to the gaming community like MG has done. Not even Mario(remember mario bros 2...lol)

That game was still an official Mario game and it sucked big time... oh yea Lugie's mansion too... you know what there have been a couple of questionable games from the leading icon in games...

It is just like when DMC2 was made by different people.... everyone jumped on that game saying how bad it was... I mean as long as you got the license it is an official game... prime example Call of Duty series... after IW started and finished with 4 everyone loves the game... So I mean it can work both ways...

and if the game was not official why was the next Mario called SMB3?

Plus, Kojima does not want to do another MG, but Konami wants too. So, we might have a similar MArio2/ DMC2 scenario happening. But I will say that Konami did an OK job with portable ops for the PSP.

Yall do know Kojima had very little to nothing to do with that game right?

Kojima mentioned this once. IF another MGS is made, he is not the producer.

Metal Gear games end with Metal Gear Solid 4 or it will turnout to be the worst series while now its the best series ever made...
