Do you think Konami will get Lazy with the PS3 version of the game and just port it?

we have to cosider a few thing before answering like

  • PS3 has bluray which means we dont need multiple disk to play the game (if its long)
  • Konami did a fantastic job with MGS4, which means they know how to handle the PS3 version.

I sure as hell hope not. There is no way this will match the awesomeness of MGS4 though :P. Obviously I am exageratting and I will keep an open mind as to how good the game is, but I hope for a solid entry that has an MGS feel, but is a fresh take on the MGS world. I must say though, Snake > Raiden.

I have a feeling it'll be the other way around.

But those guys are talented anyways, so I don't think PS3 users would get crapped on..

I doubt it, if anything 360 will get the short end of the katana with this one.. Its is built of MGS4 engine probably so it should be solid.. While its not the metal gear i want, i'll be more than happy just to be playing a next gen MG again..

Yeah sorry I didnt respond to much to the actual question. I did respond a bit though saying "I sure as hell hope not". Meaning I hope it doesnt. I have faith it will be fine in the transition to multiplat.

I also believe it will be the other way around.

The PS3 version will be just fine. I'll be trying both versions too, so we'll see.

no...i think they'll do it like castlevania, i hope so atleast..

i do think that multiplatforms games are being held back in the actual production of the game..for example, gta4 couldve been twice as long as a ps3 exclusive, stuff like that you know.. they're always confined to the dvd platform while the ps3 has something much better to offer...so in that way the 360 is just holding back multiplatforms from in the production process, much like how pc games get less quality games because they're also being made for console, so they're being held back in the actual production and design of the game..

dvds are not holding back game development.

http://www.tqcast.com/2010/09/08/ps3-games-hit-torrent-sites-a-waste-of-blu-ray-on-some-games/

transformers used up less BLu RAY disc space then King of Fighters.....

PC games do not get lower quality games BECASUE of the consoles, they just dont get pushed graphically. games like Batman:AA, COD and Dead space are not low quality, they arewere amazing games!! they ran really well on mid range computers because they are direct console ports wich dont stress modern $200US GPUs (hence why 8800gts are still hitting 30+fps in most ports). THIS DOES NOT MEANT HEY GAMES ARE LOW QUALITY (implying they are bad)

Kojima is not really working on Rising, he is just over looking it. Imo I think Rising is just a waste of time, but it is good for money since he has an excuse to release it over on the 360.

Now for you're question :P. I think it would be ported to the 360, who knows though. I can tell you this, if he is looking to make nice nice with the 360 people, it might turn out to be like Dragon Age. Dragon Age Origins was surprisingly better on the ps3 compared to the 360. Bioware clearly wanted to make a good impression so im sure Kojima wants the same for Rising (Yes I know he's made MGS games for the xbox before, hush up).

Kojima productions has been working on the ps3 even before they touched a 360. So I'm sure they know what they're doing on the ps3.

Iv'e seen kojima and the team shake hands with MS CEO i'm realy afraid that the ps3 version will be inferior and MS probaply paid them alot to keep it better on the 360, that's cow talk. 360 version will be superior since the 360 is much easier to develop for, that's a lem talk. Konami knows how to handle the ps3 since they did an awesome job with MGS4 so i'll go with this :).
