So which would you recommend? Note that I enjoyed the first MHF game and also I have never played a SRPG before.

Monster Hunter Freedom 2 has an extremely steep learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it's amazing, yet it's still a very difficult game.
Never heard of Disgaea, but if you're willing to spend about 30-45 minutes to get the hang of doing quests, upgrading armor weapons, etc on Monster Hunter, go for it!
i got MHF2 for 19.99 and never passed the training missions. its not a fun game. and thsi is coming from someone who has played almost every mmo to date since 05. lol. i even shelled out 200 bucks to play age of conan for liek a week b4 i got bored.Blue_Panda
MH is not an MMO,and it does have a very steep difficulty curve, however if you just perseveer and see through about 2 hours of the game, you will find that it is very enjoyable, although it does depend on your taste in games.
Makes sense getting both, i liked mhf2 and loved disgaea, but im a huge srpg fan, if you like disgaea then your in luck cause there loads of great srpg for the psp.psp_mtness
I figured why not I haven't played my psp much since FF:CC. Also I haven't played Disgaea yet but the game really interests me so I will probably be back for more SRPGs... lol.
