The easiest way i know of is going on a lvl 1 star quest to get 5 popo tounges and deliver the eggs. My newest way is to go to lvl 4 star quests and kill the hermitaurs and carve them. You will get 'CarapaceonBrains'. They are worth 150 PokkePoints each :) and there are 20 hermitaurs. So post your ways to get pokke points and give everyone a new way to hunt :D

The BEST way is treasure hunts from the guildhall, the old man near the starting door.

http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3158796How do I make these stupid Pokke Points for this farm thing?

Buy a bunch of Fireflies and Snakebee Larvae from the old lady by the Guild Hall. (or farm them, but when she sells them they're both cheap, and she sells them pretty regularly) Make 5 Goldenfish Bait, take 10 of each bug, and take Combo books 1-3 with you into a Forest and Hills Gathering mission. Run behind the starting tent and fish for goldenfish until there are no more. Leave the area and then come back in. Keep doing that until you have 10 Goldenfish, turn them in (5000 Pokke Points) and then get 5 more, (2500 points) finish the mission. Should take less than 10 minutes. Repeat as often as necessary, 7500 points per run.

Stockpile the Fireflies and Snakebee Larvae in your box, they're always handy, and at like 30z/Firefly and 150z/Snakebee, it's really loving easy. You will never have to worry about Pokke points EVER with this setup.

I haven't done it yet, but 7500 in under 10 minutes doesn't sound bad.

Personaly, I think the best way is surely to realize you have no life if you spend your time bragging about how many Pokke Points you have. WOW WHAT AN ACOMPLISHMENT 150 POINTS!!! Why not simply donload a save game with 99999999 Pokke Points?? Oh yeah because then you wouldn't get the sense of accomplishment that you just wasted an hour of your life that you won't get back!!_F_F_7_
Do a little research before you blindly throw out inane insults. The points are a currency used to buy upgrades for the farm among other things.

"Do your research" Come on, you want me to sit and research a game? Anyway, the fact remains, what do you achieve? NOTHING!!

Obviously you achieve something. What you're contesting is the relative meaningfulness/importance of that thing, which can by your logic be extended to all games and all accomplishments therein; since they all only exist within similarly imagined spaces. What relative personal value an individual finds in any given game and its worldspace is up to the individual. You propose rather generally that there is no real meaning or value in investing resources into in gaming, which makes me wonder what you are doing on a gaming website at all. Being here and posting as you are is, by your logic, arguably much more meaningless than farming for Pokke points.

with this logic, why play any game at all? you really truly don't achieve anything for completing a game other than time spent. What about watching a movie? Reading a book? Paying strippers over 100 dollars in one night? It's called entertainment and people seek it out and partake in it for the fact you don't really acheive anything except an enjoyable passage of time.

AND TO STAY ON TOPIC In the beginning I always hunted down mountain herbs. I realize now that 50 pts a pop isn't really anything lol

They are right there's no point buying and playing a game if u cheat. Yes it might be enjoyable for a while but then it soon gets boring. The whole point of monster hunter is working out strategies and tactics by yourself or communicating and playing with others for help. It's all about skill and cheatin needs no skill at all there's nothing more satisfying than slaying a monster solo or with your friends thanks to a strategy that you carried out perfectly. This applies to all ascpects of the game and if your going to cheat and spoil one part of it, then you spoil the rest.

I just farmed training school (usually blangonga or higher). Anything above Blangona would usually get me 1000 points per run, which means over 700 points profit if i used trenya. That was my strategy, but after seeing the thing with the Goldenfish, I think im gonna do that. 7500 points a run is crazy man.

I agree. cheating is in fact no skill. I play this game skillfully and with my friend. We have recently beaten the ankantor. WAS HARD but we did it. There is nothing better than the satisfaction of playing the game fighting a monster and finally beating the extreme monster. I go to volcanic area and get powder stones now ;)

I mine in the Volcano, I typically get between 1500-2000 points per run. (Takes 15 minutes.) I also get a crapload of iron, coal, machalite, and dragonite ore with the occasional rainbow ore/rust chunk. I typically kill the black cats in area 8 to get their drops which go for 200 points.

Me and a friend usually just play treasure hunting quests, it takes some time, but it's fun nontheless and if you're lucky, you might even find a treasure to appear on your guild card! Yaay! Big Monster Hunter fan by the way, bought every one on release and enjoyed them all. So under-rated, so little talked about.meconate

Make a thread on the Wii board and check the MH3 board to find some people to play online with, I plan to get it within a few weeks of its release, probably day one.
