well call of duty doesn't have mic support and you need to press down L3 to talk in resistance.
let me just make sure I have this straight, when the headset is off you can hear people fine through your tv speakers, but when the headset is on, you hear static only?Â
my bro currently has my mic. He borrowed it to use with his cell phone since he's doing a lot of driving around for the next week. The only reason I ask is because maybe its just the ear piece on the headset thats busted. If that's the case but the mic part of it still works, then you can set it to play through your tv speakers even while the mic is on. Slightly different to get used to, but it will get the job done for ya.
Because I have heard about knock-offs being sold on ebay. If you can, I'd say borrow someone elses and see if that does the same thing. Sounds like it's just your headset. But there might be an option in Motorstorm about the headset that may help. Sorry.
