mic status disappeared from XMB

My sony mic (confrontation bundle) doesn't show its status after 3.0 update. Anybody else having the problem? How can I tell how much power is left without waiting until it dies?

Try un-syncing it then re-syncing it.

It also freeezes games

sony said they will release an update as soon as they can.

Weird...Well Sony is going to make a fix for all the bugs in 3.0 so sit tight bud.
