Those are all good games to get. Only thing is Assassins Creed gets really repetitive, and I don't know if you will enjoy that.

didnt put it but Valkyria chronicles 9.5/10-----THIS IS A MASTERPIECE

If you like diablo type games and super hard difficulties, you should look at importing demon's souls. It's one of the best games available right now on PS3 (imo). otherwise the list isn't too bad. Heavenly sword is pretty good as well and I would think of it as a better choice than assassin's creed.

I recommend Killzone 2 because the same thing has been said with many people.

I have heard from many people that ar enot really into shooters have loved Killzone 2 and has been their first good impression of shooters.

And I think assassins creed is a good game. If you like adventure then go with it.

If you like Action Adventure you might wanna try Prince of Persia. It`s a Action Adventure with Platform elements.

Replace Assassin's Creed and GTAIV with LittleBigPlanet and Call of Duty 4 and you've got yourself5 incredible games.

You could simply have MGS4 and you'd be absolutely fine, it's just that brilliant.

Good choice on Uncharted as well, it looks beautiful, it plays nicely and has a great storyline. I tend to think its one of the most underrated games of this generation.

Following on from Uncharted, you might wanna try out Tomb Raider: Underworld. I was never really a Tomb Raider fan but this one is very, very good.

Ninja Gaiden and Assassin's Creed will get very repetitve, but if you can find them for cheap then they'll be worth going through.

GTA IV will dissapoint you hugely if you liked the PS2 versions, but I don't think you can get a PS3 (or a 360) and not at least play it. Definitely not for me though.

COD4, or World at War are brilliant games and well worth buying, might wanna buy a sports game though if you don't like sports, then probably not eh?

No Valkyria Chronicles? No dice.

Switch out assassin's for something else like CoD or something or R&C. All the other games are great, good joice 9/10!

I liked assassins creed, it didnt get to repetetive unless you rushed through the game(for me anyway), and it has a pretty cool storyline. Most of its pretty easy except for the damned templar fight near the end

Great choices. I'm not sure about Assassian's Creed but I know you should check out Resident Evil 5, Little BIG Planet and BioShock! My PS3 ID is OneShot45. Add me as a friend if you want when you get the PS3.:lol:

-Metal Gear Solid 4 - The story is great if you've played previous MGS games, but the actual gameplay isn't anything special and I quickly got bored with it.
-Assassin's Creed - One of my favorite games. Excellent premise, great graphics and a completely open world. It gets kind of repetitive, but it's still great fun.
-Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - One of the best looking PS3 games, and one of my favorites.

Don't forget about RE5 and Killzone 2.

Good enough choices... i also happen to have all of those and my least favorite is GTA IV...but that's my opinion, you on the other hand might like it. you can also get Assassin's Creed and Ninja Gaiden Sigma on Greatest Hits, so you can save money and buy more games... like Valkyria Chronicles, Killzone 2 or COD 4: Modern Warfare / World at War...

i actually liked gta4, i know why people dislike it but i for one, thought the story really brought me in and i enjoyed it.

im definately not getting assassin creed, maybe bioshock but that seems like no reply value
