might get a psp.

Hey buddy, my advise is not to geta psp... I have one that i got when it came out and i bought one game and then left it alone, i have a computer and i play that alot, but a psp has never been that great.. Its a mission just trying to find a game with a rating over 8.5, the graphics arnt to great and the games short.. Of course its very good for the size but think to yourself if you want to spend that much on games that last what 7 hours? I havent touched it in over a year because i have never felt like spending all that money on aboring game when i can put an extra gig of ram in my pc or something..

But i have to say it is the best handheld system around but just ask yourself if you mind spending all that money on low rated games, dont get me wrong all the games arnt bad, but it has such a small selection of good ones.. Anyway hope it goes well, as for good games, i enjoyed

- siphon filter:logens shadow, (One psp game i loved!!)

- Metal gear acid, (first one)

- and tiger woods pga tour 2007..

PSP's are great. I have a PC, 360, and a PSP and i still play PSP a lot. Below are games i recommend,

- Medal of Honor Heroes 2

- Metal Gear Solid

- Monster Hunter Freedom 2

- Test Drive Unlimited

It should be, but then you might consider making the movie smaller.. Im not exactly sure how big a umd dvd is though..

huh thats something to think about... i like alot of ds games though so i dont know if that would make a difference, also i wont just use it to play games, im a photographer so the screen is nice, also the movie ability is very attractive to me, but thanks for actualy giving me the oposing opinion, rare on a psp exclusive forum.nickoftime8593

In the interest of making a fair comparison, how many DS games have gotten amazing reviews? There's only one ranked above 90 on Metacritic -- Mario Kart, at 91 -- and two ranked at 90 -- Phantom Hourglass and Advance Wars...the latter which I have never even seen in a store, despite seeking it out because of the reviews! And this is totally just my opinion, but PH is overrated. My .02...take it however you want.

Honestly, I think it's more fair to compare the PSP to the iPhone or the iPod Touch than the DS. I'm not saying that's necessarily a good thing, though...I would love to see better games for it, and more of them, but if you bought it solely for the media player / internet connectivity you would not be disappointed. Compared to Apple's products, it's an amazing deal -- AND it has some fantastic games. That's not to take anything away from the DS, either. I really couldn't say which has the more impressive technology, IMO. They're just different.
