Might Want To Read This IF You Like Online

Now I know Resistance didn't have this back when I was playing online all the time (had to trade it in for Oblivion but will be buying it again this next month)... but another soon to be popular online game (all I'm willing to say without risking my NDA) actually imports your buddy list from the XMB into the game whether your other friends are playing the game of not and tells you which ones are currently playing...... BRILLIANT!

Is that something that R:FOM ended up doing with an update... or is this news for everyone else too?

Yea... not quite the same as an in-game XMB but it was an awesome surprise... been playing since yesterday and I just stumbled across it mins ago. They don't have any messaging functions active at this point (other than in-game chatting) but if they include that in the final build, it will be a huge step in the right direction.
