I have been on sony's ps3 forums and there is a big thread there from people that are getting more freezes now than with 3.0. Once again, seems to affect 60gb bc models for the most part. Just an fyi - I am gonna wait on this.
i have a 60gb and no issues. so far ive only played batman and rockband since the update. it does seem to be quieter during dvds tho. before the update my fan would start getting really loud during a movie
Yes, most of the ppl are saying it fixed uncharted but broke all their other games. One guy actually posted a list of 12 games in a row he tried, lol!scotto46

ugh, sony really needs to learn how to update their systems better...i'm NOT being a troll on this (or at least i'm not trying to be) but M$ has NEVER had any problems like this with system updates, seems like sony always take a few tries to get updates right

eh, by then everything should be sorted out....if sony takes more than a month to fix this problem then i'll freak out, it's getting ridiculous
Well, 3.0 made me realize that the "official" sony controller I got 6 months ago on ebay was a fake. Nice of them to let me know now that I can't get my money back, lol. I wish I could go back to 2.8!!

It froze the other day while I was downloading a game and then later when I tried to install it, it said "Corrupt File" every time after 12%. Any game I play for more than an hour it freezes so I have to keep saving everything constantly. Today I was playing Madden 08 and simming through my franchise while I was doing laundry (lol shut up...) and I forgot to save because I was busy. Simmed through like 2 years and then it froze. I was pissed.

i have been having the same problem, it freezes on the xmb it did it like 3-4 times white i was look at a message in game or if i just try to send a message it might just stop, the screen is frozen but the ps3 isnt it self i can hear the clicking of the xmb and stuff.
