Are any of the mini's in the PS store good? Or most of them just quick little arcade games to kill time? That's not bad though, but are any of them addicting or that fun?

Saved to look back at thread. I too would like to know or are they just a waste of $. i dont see any reason to buy the minis unless you dont have the space for full games (or you have a psp go). I buy psp games on UMD for the cost of a mini. so i dont bother with them. It's sorta like getting games that would work on an Iphone, but paying too much. and you cant demo ANY of them. Thats the worst part.
Thats the murder one right? How do you win?Hysteria Project is good, pretty short, but good.

Well, I've played Blast Off, Hero of Sparta, Bloons and Tetris, and I have to say that, aside from Tetris, the rest are just "meh".
Blast Off is a "challenging", confusing, and tiring puzzle game that got me bored after 30 minutes because of the repetitiveness. I wasted my $3 on this while I could've bought a LittleBigPlanet DLC. Sigh.
Hero of Sparta is an epic fail. It tries to be God of War, but ultimately fails. Easy battles, dumb AI that just stand there waiting for their death, and the worst part of all, the game runs in an awful 15 frames per second or so, from what I've seen. Also, the graphics of this games arefugly. I'm a graphics whore, but man, that graphics is so freaking ugly. I'd rather it be made in 2D than have textures that make me feel like I'm playing games in the 1990 era. For $10, you can buy God of War Chains of Olympus which is the real thing. 10000 times better than the awful-ripoff-Mini.
Bloons is just like Blast Off. Decent at first, then the deeper you get into the game (like, in 15 minutes), the more repetitive and frustrating it gets.
Tetris is the only decent Mini, simply because the Tetris formula alone is amazing. Coupled with a few good Russian-ish songs and interesting game modes, Tetris is a great way to kill your time. The only thing is that it is priced at $10. Ugh. Patapon 2 and PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe completely obliterate this game, and they're just about the same price.

This helps. Thanks man. the only ones i know are Fieldrunners and tetris. I bought Spot the Diff, Zombie Apolclyapse, and one other i can't recall. They are on my PS3 though. But i wanna purchase like 1 or 2 of them. Just like some little arcade game to kill time and enjoyTetris is one everyone must have, its the perfect game to have on your PSP for when you are on the toilet
RTUUMM
TETRIS is way overpriced considering the game's age and widespread availability, butt to each their own so to speak.
I like "Blast Off!" a LOT, very fun physics-based game I found to be addicting, stay away from "BrainPipe" as it is only fun if you're on dope. And "The Hera Campaign" is a fantastic Tower Defense game i HIGHLY reccomend. YouTubes has gameplay footage of all the minis if you want to see them in action before buying, it helped me a bunch!

errh savage moon the hera campain is a psn exclusive and not a mini! Anyways It's a must have tower defense for psp!Tehra the dark warrior? (Sorry if name is wrong) That just came out how does that play?Xx-Addict-xX
hey, Tehra dark warriror has good graphics but is difficult. So if you buy it put it on easy difficulty. The game has not much combo moves but has spells and the ability the transform into a "dark warriro". I don't like it much the game, it's pretty repetitive.
I would buy add-on content for "Blast Off!" no questions asked. My only complaint is that I finished it all with top scores a little too fast. I love that kind of game though... I was a huge "Lunar Lander" fan back in the arcade days and I have the "Atari Evolved" disc for that game alone.
:D
Really fun, tite little graphics.
