Mirror's Edge Bug Never Patched

Wow, I can't believe DICE never patched that yellow staircase bug in Mirror's Edge! I'm playing through it again since I love the game and even downloaded v1.01, but the game still freezes on that damn yellow staircase! That's really pathetic and IMO unacceptable in today's systems to have to deal with crap like this. Oh well, I guess I'll try it over and over until it doesn't freeze up on me...

If they haven't done it, they are not going to do it. I never froze there on my 3+ play throughs so I wouldn't know of this glitch.

It froze every time for me, but then I found if I wasn't signed in to the PSN I could get past it.

There's a way to get past that, involves wall running to the other side of the building and going through the door above the one that leads to the yellow staircase. After you take out the first sniper on the billboard, instead of using the zip-line in front of you, use the one on the right instead which will bring you to the building on the right side of the big building with the dog insignia. Then go to the end of the balcony and wall run/jump to the upper railing to the left and that'll take you right past where it usually freezes and you can continue the level.

its been a while since I played it but ,all glitches I encountered, I was able to get past them by simply walking backwards (in game....not in real life :P)lol

Played the game 9 times now and that's not counting all of the tons of speed runs. Never froze there yet. Only place it's frozen for me more then once is in the sewers.

you play offline though don't you. for some reason I think it only freezes while signed into the PSN. at least thats what I read while looking for a work around and as soon as I tried playing it offline I was able to get past it.

Yep. Only offline for me. So you may very well be correct.
